I think people gave up on that in favor of VR and 4k.

LOL 3D is better/funner than VR don't know why everyone skipped over such a cool piece of tech. 90% of games I wouldn't want to play in VR anyways. It'll be nice when 4k monitors are 120hz/144hz and gpus can handle doing 3d on them. Source: I own both. (Oculus/3D Vision Monitor) |
