I also forgot TW3 another game that launched with a better performance on Xbox, console wise. I don't think it's that simple. You will probably get the better resolution, anything else will be the same, as seen in DAI again. As for performance, we will have to wait and see. Xbox is my choice because of the history behind it, controller, friends and the inevitable Scorpio patch. Mass Effect, in the past, was more popular on Xbox, tho. Don't overlook that, just look at FIFA. Regardless, the player base will be sufficient for both consoles, that's not really the case here, it might even be bigger on Xbox if the original trilogy is an example to follow as well. In a nutshell, it's really which console you feel the most comfortable with it, there's no other argument. That is just for particular game, dark souls 3 runs better on ps4 than xbox one, and yes that includes the framerates : www.vg247.com/2016/03/28/dark-souls-3-frame-rate-graphics-xbox-one-vs-ps4/Like I told you, it depends on which games it is, but the ps4 is totally able to have a good framerates at 1080p. The DAI and Witcher having better framerates means Absolutely NOTHING. BY the way many xbox 360 user due to the microsoft shit did in 2013 with the DRM switched to ps4, so right now, the game starting on xbox is a thing of the past. for a very long time. That might have been true for mass effect 3 on xbox 360, but right now Everybody knows the game is coming for all of them and many xbox 360 owners are on ps4. But it's a case, just like DAI was, that's the whole point. Search up the DAI/TW3 DF review if the 900 / 1080p is so noticeable and a seller for you. You're basically agreeing with me. MEA will run just about the same, and if not slightly better on Xbox due to the most likely lower resolution, because that happened before. So it means something. This isn't an opinion, this is a possibility created by actual events. I don't see what's hard to comprehend. We'll see how it's a thing of the past when it launches, before that, there's not much one can say. I'm also guessing Xbox might have a better ratio of copy/per console unity. PS4 has double the base yet the flagship that is Uncharted 4 sells less than 10 millions over its lifespan so far? Again, everything is a possibility. You should be more neutral, and look for both sides, something I notice you aren't. It might outperform the Xbox version by a slim margin, has a huge chance indeed, it might not. See the FIFA case again, even after the 360. People knew it was coming for the PS3, though. It was pretty clear. And just to be clear, I have both consoles and a good ol' 970Ti, but I have a huge preference over the Xbox One, feels like a better built pack for me, as mentioned before. And I do play everything the PS4 has to offer, aside from that Japanese weird crap.

I FUCKING HATE PC GAMING. I hate PC gaming as much as I hate Micheal Bay's Transformers films and the DCEU movies in fact I would rather watch all them than a video game on my PC. I did that for a few years and it was the worst gaming experience of my life and I won't do it again. *Cries in superior aim, 1440p/ultra/60fps* Joking aside, I'm finding it hard to believe consoles have any 'real' advantage over PC, beyond the delicious exclusives (which I'm jelly of), since you can play on a PC just about exact same way as a console. The advantages are better gfx, higher fps, the ability to choose between KB+M or controller(silent scream), far wider variety of games, emulators, general versatility, but hey, the console, it's smaller... However, I'm not saying it's wrong using consoles, far from it, but I just don't get the hate for the PC here. I can guess the hardware can seem like a maze for the uninitiated, who cast away the fair life of celibacy for a more "normal" life, and result in some possible bad purchases though... Other than that, I'm at a loss. :| Aanyways, PS4 all the way still! The people hath spoken! The main appeal to consoles is that they're cheap and very easy to use. Perfect for normal dumb poor people like me. There area a lot of super toxic PC fanboys out there, I know they aren't all like that.

Dark souls 3 runs at 900p on xbox one and it has a less good framerates than the ps4 version, which runs at 1080p and has more stable 30 fps. So no unfortunately the lower number of pixels does not mean MEA will run better on xbox one. Like really not, DAI and witcher 3 means nothing for MEA graphics just like dark souls 3, it was just the lack of optimisation that made an unstable framerates on all of those games.
Now you could say that you don't care about the difference between 900p and 1080p, maybe some people don't see the differences if its not told to them that one screen is 900 and the other is 1080 (I myself could tell the difference in most cases BUT I would need a certain amount of time to look at it before saying which one is more detailed, I would say its not that more beautiful but it is a bit).
BUT there is a difference between 1080 and 900 and that is not opinion, and that is why I was speaking of it. Its up to the author of that thread to decides whatever he cares about the visual or not.
Not caring about it is totally fine. I myself not even that of a graphic guy, If I wanted the best graphics I would have paid more for my pc.

Yes And? Halo 5 from what I have seen have sold 5 millions, against the 10 millions of uncharted 4 while the ps4 has mostly twice the sales of the xbox one. that seems pretty equivalent.
But all right we shall see about the player base when it releases.

What did you find inferior about those games? Just the difference between controller/kb+m or was there anything else? Everything. Give me a solid controller I'll make the Mako, Hammerhead, and Nomad dance. Playing games with KB+M is a waste of time for me. While I have played point-and-click mouse games they tend to tear wrist up and my health is more important than playing a video game. Simply put Console gaming is fun for me and PC Gaming is not fun for me. That is all I will say. The controller parts I get. I played MET on PS3, and only recently acquired it for PC - and I'm loving the improvements. There are mods for all 3 games that allow the use of an Xbox controller (I use Better DS3 so my PS3 controller can emulate an Xbox controller), and it plays no differently than it did on PS3. But here's a few of the things that I like better: - Some of the cutscenes are a bit longer. They'll include, for example, establishment shots that were cut short on console. - No long load screens. I can travel between decks on the Normandy as fast as I can push a button. - Other mods, like getting rid of ME2's mini-games, and some great armors and other various textures. - Various console commands, the ability to edit config files and your character's gear. I believe they've indicated that MEA will come with native controller support. OT: I actually voted for XBone, assuming you'll eventually play it on both platforms. My reason for that choice was because you might be spoiled by PS4's better graphics...

Well the ps4 version is going to play at 1080p instead of 900p on the xbox one, maybe its because there is not enough optimisation on the xbox one version rather than the machine being less powerful, But I would say the results is what matters. And the results is that On the ps4 you will get better visual for your playthrought of MEA. Its up to you to choose. If DAI is anything to follow by, it will run better on Xbox One. Funny, isn't it? Biowaer. I got DAI on both systems (hell it was the first game I bought on both platforms) and currently playing it on my PS4 and it plays the same on both.

My reason for that choice was because you might be spoiled by PS4's better graphics... Nothing you mentioned as "improvements" are anything I give a damn about. The load times don't bother me because I have learned the value the patience and they were never that long to begin only a few seconds. And the same with cut scenes. Unless they are HUGE plot reveals I don't give a crap. I have tried the mods for Fallout 4 and Skyrim SE and they didn't do much for me. Since I don't have the knowledge to edit config files and don't give a damn to do even I were to debase myself by playing a PC Game and most of that shit I've seen on Youtube didn't impress me 8-10 years ago and they still don't impress me now. I don't care if BioWare gave me a controller made out of solid platinum with diamond as buttons to play on PC I still wouldn't play ME:A on PC because of how much I hate PC gaming because IMHO the whole of PC Gaming sucks and I haven't seen or read anything since I got away from that toxic waste dump to make me go back in there.

From what we're hearing, evidently the Xbox One version runs a little smoother than the PS4 version.
Beyond that assuming you don't preference either console and friends aren't pulling you towards one or the other for MP, then it doesn't really matter a whole lot.

I was gonna come here and state the fact that your experience would be 100x superior on the PC, but I have noticed that you happen to have a burning hatred for PC gaming for some reason so I'm just gonna say I'd go with the PS4 out of the two options in the poll.
