Is reload cancelling an exploit?

Since the cancelled reload time is still tied to the actual reload time of that particular weapon, no feature is ignored and the effective fire rate remains the same compared to other weapons (given they're also cancelled).

I'm guessing it was an unintended game feature. It's possible for an exploit to be an unintended game feature, the two things don't have to be mutually exclusive. Should it be removed from the game? No, because while it does present an advantage to the experienced player, it doesn't offer that huge of a benefit. I would say that it provides a modest and noticeable advantage, but certainly nothing that's overpowered in any way (like missile glitching - now that was definitely overpowered).

Ironic that many of the fire starters are agreeing with people that it's an exploit all of a sudden, before I "showed up" (because I don't sit around waiting for threads to pop up about it).
