I can't see them making any announcements about DLC yet as they would probably just get backlash from people accusing them of not working on patches.

There's no way anything major is released by June or even July. Well, maybe that was the original schedule. Then again, even Inquisition, which didn't blow up in their faces nearly as much at release, took over 4 months to get its first DLC. I'd say ME3 and Leviathan is a much better comparison here, so we're looking at late August or early September.

Early September seems about right for first DLC. Alot of patching (bugs, qol and corrections) needs to be done before they should consider DLC work. Otherwise its just more issues thrown on.

DLC is probably already in the works. >$14.99-$19.99 That's not an acceptable price point considering it will likely be cheap DAI DLC like content instead of Witcher 3 DLC content. Hi Dutch! I'm surprised nobody greeted you in all this time! Allow me to fix the inconvenience!

Thanks for your answser, of course, i got lot of bugs and many critics or some frustration on the game (interface inventory, missing option sell all/buy all, items hierarchy ), limited movement on planet map, bad ressource management, poor economy planet management for colonization, lot of credit but nothing to buy. sometime the game is blocking, but i was able to play it. it look to be a remaking of ME1 with different story, planet design are good, but animals and species are very to limited, only 2 intelligent species in Andromeda, kett and angara, diplomacy rules are limited. but it was funny to play. i hope to see the DLC in few month, for the lost Ark, for explore meridian planet, to know the jaardan story, the giver story i expect the release dlc date because, paper book seem also on it, Mass Effect Andromeda: The Lost Ark Paperback – 27 Jun 2017 www.amazon.co.uk/Mass-Effect-Andromeda-Lost-Ark/dp/1785651587Mass Effect - Andromeda: Nexus Uprising Mass Market Paperback – 21 Mar 2017 www.amazon.co.uk/Mass-Effect-Andromeda-Nexus-Uprising/dp/1785651560/ref=sr_1_3?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1492874970&sr=1-3&keywords=Mass+Effect+Andromeda

>$14.99-$19.99 That's not an acceptable price point considering it will likely be cheap DAI DLC like content instead of Witcher 3 DLC content. "From Ashes" cost $10. "Leviathan" cost $10. "Citadel" cost $15. Looking at HLTB, completionists took an average of 1 hour for "From Ashes," 3 hours for "Leviathan," and 6 hours for "Citadel." (Granted, "From Ashes" went beyond the mission with the new squadmate and his dialogue and cutscenes, so the one hour isn't fully representative. Then again, some felt this DLC should've been part of the main game instead of on-disc, Day One DLC.) Which of these DLC's the first MEA DLC will resemble, only time will tell. I agree that $15 would be a stretch for something like "From Ashes" or "Leviathan," and that $20 would be a stretch for anything short of a significant expansion.

normaly, like every software developpment after production delivery, team are splited between support team, developper team, test team, in case the support can request to developper for help. the developper team continu his main job with new feature or to start another project. people working on dlc or the core software are surely not same one for fixing issue and patching, and not same people doing the delivery on website.

dlc 1 - June 2018 oops. June 2017 dlc 2 - Oct 2017 dlc 3 - Jan/Feb 2018 - if Ryder will only be in one game, I can see this dlc be similar to a trespasser type dlc like the one for the Inquisitor
In between those 3, Bioware will release 2 armor and weapon packs

I think it will be DLC #1 in early to mid summer, DLC #2 will be late summer early fall and DLC #3 by early 2018. Of course talking about big story based DLCs. Smaller stuff like weapon packs will be scattered in between. this is what i think will happen. probably a lot of small SP and MP DLC, some free included in patches and some low dollar kits or something in between the larger DLC packs.

I also beleive the sales havent been bad and I think the overall reception of this game is "good" despite the reviews and tone of this community. After MEA released and I read continual complaints, I looked on a few sites and all of the polls showed a positive opinion of the game (just like here on BSN) despite a small group of people that just wouldn't stop complaining and sill won't lol

I wouldn't be surprised if there are less than 3 DLCs.
MEA sold badly and its future is not bright. EA might just want to cut their loses.

Difficult to say, considering the state of the base game and its need for patching.
DLC production has been underway since before release, I would imagine. That development may take hits in the form of roadbumps and roadblocks as things in the original .exe are patched.
I would guess late July for your first DLC. I wonder what I will be playing then....

Just finished the game. So I'm hoping the DLC we get answers some questions I got. Don't expected anything major about the Jardaan or who released the Scourge weapon against them. But a DLC about the Benefactor and the Quarian ark would be nice.

I'm going with July. According to ME3's timeline, the first non-release day DLC was released 5 months after the base game. Since we didn't get a release day DLC for MEA, I'm going with 4 months.

I reckon there will be 3 sizeable story packs, ranging in price from $14.99 up to $19.99 each, that will be released over the next 12 months. I suspect the timeline will be the following: Story DLC #1 - Out June 2017 Story DLC #2 - Out September 2017 Story DLC #3 - Out February 2018 This is based purely on previous timelines for story DLC (specifically for ME3 and DAI). If not exactly right, I reckon the schedule will be very similar to this one. If they decide to do that many separate dlc packs, I would prefer having a season pass option to get them at a discount. Considering We don't have a season pass, I don't think there will be more than two paid dlc launches. I would prefer just one large expansion and small individual dlc content packs. I think we will get some small dlc add ons like alternate outfits and weapons for companions to enhance the vanilla game by June but a big story expansion in august or September. If they wait past September, their kind of screwed with all the new games dropping in the fall

All of which, by the by, I will happily pay for.

Btw, DLCs for 2017 should be FREE FOR ALL that bought the game, since it's beta anyway ( and yes I DO play the game - 200 hours+ , I'm not here to troll ). Season pass for every1, fix the game then charge.
