Single-player DLC Timeline Speculation (Official Thread)

Final damage-relief patch: August
DLC #1: October
DLC #2: Canceled
DLC #3: January

Early September seems about right for first DLC. Alot of patching (bugs,qol and corrections) needs to be done before they should consider DLC work. Otherwise its just more issues thrown on.

Thanks for your answser, of course, i got lot of bugs and many critics or some frustration on the game (interface inventory, missing option sell all/buy all, items hierarchy ), limited movement on planet map,  bad ressource management, poor economy planet management for colonization, lot of credit but nothing to buy. sometime the game is blocking, but i was able to play it. it look to be a remaking of ME1 with different story, planet design are good, but animals and species are very to limited, only 2 intelligent species  in Andromeda, kett and angara, diplomacy rules are limited. but it was funny to play.

i hope to see the DLC in few month, for the lost Ark, for explore meridian planet, to know the jaardan story, the giver story
i expect the release dlc date because, paper book seem also on it,

No I don't think they'll cancel any planed dlc. Sales and reception aren't that bad.

If they release a DLC before they fix the problems I am realy going to hate them, right now, I just do not care.

dlc 3 - Jan/Feb 2018 - if Ryder will only be in one game, I can see this dlc be similar to a trespasser type dlc like the one for the Inquisitor

In between those 3, Bioware will release 2 armor and weapon packs

I also beleive the sales havent been bad and I think the overall reception of this game is "good" despite the reviews and tone of this community.

After MEA released and I read continual complaints, I looked on a few sites and all of the polls showed a positive opinion of the game (just like here on BSN) despite a small group of people that just wouldn't stop complaining and sill won't lol

I wouldn't be surprised if there are less than 3 DLCs.

MEA sold badly and its future is not bright. EA might just want to cut their loses.

I'd like to get something before Autumn, but I guess it's not going to happen, we'll probably get first DLC announce in early-mid Summer.

If they decide to do that many separate dlc packs, I would prefer having a season pass option to get them at a discount. Considering We don't have a season pass, I don't think there will be more than two paid dlc launches. I would prefer just one large expansion and small individual dlc content packs. I think we will get some small dlc add ons like alternate outfits and weapons for companions to enhance the vanilla game by June but a big story expansion in august or September.

If they wait past September, their kind of screwed with all the new games dropping in the fall

I'm thinking late May, mid July and early September. I foresee a years worth of support for MEA but DLC will come out earlier.

All of which, by the by, I will happily pay for.
