I understand, but i think youre pretty much asking for the impossible. Not only are the rachni pretty much on hostile terms with every other known race in the galaxy (even if it was a misunderstanding), they can also be killed off in the first game, remember. So unless Bioware just wants them there and does a complete asspull, i see no way of including them in Andromeda. Slarians and cloning are an easy fix for that particular choice. Seeing how willing they were to play mad scientist with the Yahg, I could easily see them bringing over some test tube Rachni into the new galaxy. There is also the possibility that the Rachni themselves have already made it to Andromeda. They are the oldest known species in the Milky Way after all, older than even the Protheans, and aware of the Reaper threat.

I still think that said book will focus on one of the other Arks. I just can't see them focusing a book on the Quarians and the 'B' races coming to Andromeda. It 's a very weird premise. That and the book has been renamed "Annihilation", and I can't see them killing off the Ark that contain literally every other species people want to see. Did they switch authors and start from scratch? Because the author of Annihilation and The Lost Ark are not the same people. I don't know, I simply heard the "The Lost Ark" was an old title that is no longer in use, or at least isn't in the most recently confirmed lineup of books. But this is all second-hand information.

I don't consider it impossible if: -DLC comes with the other races, Quarian focus -it is in a limited respect for most, but this is okay because its just a big test of putting the others in the new engine -expanded use in next game, using the MEA DLC basis, and potentially expansion on the weirder ones like Elcor, Volus, Hanar, like Bioware always wanted
Remember they're intending on a saga here.

Of course they will be in ME:A. And the reason I believe they will isn't because of the story (which is why I want them), nor for the money made by a SP DLC (which would be considerable), it is for Multiplayer.
By bringing Quarians, Drell, Batarians, Volus, etc. into the game, they are effectively giving themselves a massive expansion potential for MP; new character types, new weapons, new abilities, new races to play as. What this means is that there will be a lot more people paying for loot boxes so that they can attempt to acquire the races they love, such as the Drell, and -that- is where they are going to make their money.
Not that I'm complaining. I can't wait to see them.
