The Origin/EA Access Multiplayer discussion thread (hours away...)

It will be only 10 hours,but as I understand all the mp features will be open.

From what I heard the SP trial is locked to only 1 planet.

10 hours with full mp access. Singleplayer is gated to first planet.

So can somebody break down how this trial works for me? I mean, is it like a specific time it starts and then after 10 hours you cant play anymore or is it possible to buy it later than the 16th and distribute the 10 hours however you like, across the days before launch? and do you need to buy it before the 16th?

Is your progress carried over to the actual game?

I heard it only carries over if you have the preorder.

Or imagine our salty tears when they start showing up in gold/platinum lobbies, with 3 hours of MP experience from 5 years ago.

I don't...think so. So far I've only seen them generally say you're progress from early access can be carried over. Nothing about having to pre order the game for that progress to carry over. Could ask, but that sounds like it would be a silly thing to do. Then again this is the first time I've done these early trials on origin. It seems like they stay there even after release though.

Don't feel like digging through tweets so here's an article just saying progress from early access will carry over. I assumed if you had to preorder it would've been mentioned.

The battlefield 1 trial is still up for people with origin access so I imagine MEA's will be too.
