To clarify this:

This user was previously banned from the forums for behaviour and attempted to circumvent it by changing their IP address, which is not something I'm willing to tolerate regardless of who it is.

Yes, the user flamed flamed the forum as a guest.

Regardless of circumstance though, as Cyonan pointed out, a ban's a ban. Would not be much of a ban if we allowed circumvention

Hi! I've migrated from the Bioware forum. I wasn't very active over there, I was mostly lurking around..

Hi. I'm one of those lurker-types, that has been on BSN for a long time (since that funny thing Bio pulled with BG2:TOB when they forgot to put DRM on discs) yet nobody knows who I am. That's on purpose. I'm extremely lazy to do anything (see: my pic in Behind the Monitor) including writing, and being recently diagnosed with "animosity towards people " (which is apparently a thing) also explains a lot.

So BSN. BSN is the first and only forum that made me want to at least try to interact with other people. My recently reached 500 posts milestone, compared to glorious 27 posts on battle.net, speaks for itself. Anyone who thinks that BSN is toxic is either very new to the internet or is highly delusional.

Why am I here? When I found out that BSN is going to be nuked from orbit, I knew one thing: I'm gonna go wherever Cyonan's gonna go, because the thing I'm interested most is multiplayer and explanation of ingame mechanics. So when he decided to make his own "rebel" BSN, it was no-brainer.

One last thing. If I manage, in the future, to offend anyone (and I'll most certainly try my best), just imagine me laughing my ass off.

Been on the old BSN for like 7, 8 years. Posted for a long time but kind of went into lurker mode when everyone lost their shit over ME3 and then even more so when they changed the board format. Very much looking forward to a more old-school BSN community experience, if that's possible. Dragon Age and Mass Effect are kind of obsessions for me so I'm always looking to talk about them and I don't think my wife can take anymore.
