Hey guys I hope it's cool to post this up in here, it's my first impressions of Mass Effect Andromeda from getting my hands on it at the ME:A content capture event in San Francisco at the beginning of the month. Seriously though, thanks for the vid Drain. I wonder, what were your thoughts on the facial animations, are lot of people are skeptical, claiming it goes from good to downright uncanny valley levels. |

LOL, it didn't occur to me until after that I went a bit Life Is Strange with my Ryder. Facial animations and lip syncing were slightly off at times, but as I mentioned in the video we were playing an early build at the ME:A content capture event... I would assume it'll be more refined on launch, if not it'll likely be something they patch in. Overall it wasn't really distracting. |

Thanks for the vid! I've been wanting to find one with no story spoilers, and this worked nicely. The limited CC doesn't really bother me too much. Happy to hear most of the squaddies are great. I've yet to get invested in Cora, myself, but the more I see and hear about Liam, I'm at least confident I'll like him. My big interests are Jaal, Vetra, and Kallo.
What were your thoughts on Kallo? He's seems very enthusiastic and sassy at times. Is he like Joker, or very much his own character? I'm assuming the later, but a confirmation is always nice. :3

The animations for most part, and the CC, don't personally wreck anything.
But I can also completely see the complaints and really hope that good patches happen over Spring-Summer for that.
And some animations should be truly embarrassing to have in a final product. Again, doesn't ruin, but needs to be addressed for the
Oh and the regular NPC convos are not just lifeless, but creepy. Not the impression you want to leave.
I don't regret preordering yet. But I may hesitate for DLC or beyond.
