I don't like the Lance animation. Should have been like Phase Disrupter, instead it looks like a weakling throwing a ball. Annilihation field needs to have its effect amplified significantly, very difficult to tell when something is effected compared to ME3. It is a good video though, overall I think most of the effects look good.

So holding throw pulls a target to you until you release and toss them away? What's the hold/alternate cast for pull then?Edit: Ah now I see what's going on in the video. Damn, time to reevaluate the kits. Oh and shockwave is now back to ME2 shockwave bowling style?

As I understand it you hold down pull to grab it and bring it to you. Then you just tap Throw aiming at whatever you want to hit, while still holding down Pull key. Thanks, that does clear things up. Also makes the Human Kineticist look like it could be a lot of fun to play - assuming the whole kit will be functional against all defences together with Lance.

As I suspected, they got rid of Warp. Logical, considering how OP that power was. It seems like there are no powers that can both prime and detonate, as they want to encourage creating combos with teammates instead of spamming self-detonating combos, which I find great. The kits also look more balanced at first glance. I'm hoping the effective playstyle will be more team oriented instead of 4 people soloing on the same map like in ME3. We have seen some powers with a Rank 6 Evo like with Incinerate, & Nova(IIRC) allowing it to detonate/prime other things, with Incinerate, it's rank 6 evo is detonate vs double incinerate from one the vids I've seen. But we'll know for sure in a few days due to early access.

With individual power cooldowns and segregation of primers/detonators, this would allow them to balance each individual power accordingly, and possibly make them do decent damage. Then again all the footage we've seen has been on Bronze Difficulty, so it's impossible to judge atm.

A few times it even looked like you could arc Overload like a projectile power ...that means it can be psychically evaded.

Firstly, I am glad that Grenades are for the most part gone. That should bring some of the focus back to helping each other rather than stealing each other's grenades.
Now Biotics... Once again each Biotic ability on its own look quite underwhelming, perhaps with the exception of Nova. For some reason I had hopes that we would see the return of ME1 Biotics, where a mere Throw or Pull could move mountains. I guess those days are never coming back. Biotics seem to be just as useless against shielded enemies as they were in the previous games. I just hope the combos are pretty powerful. Otherwise a UR character like the Human Kineticist would make no sense.

I like how they don't detonate on impact with enemies anymore. That enemy's reaction to getting bonked on the head by a grenade was great!
