So we have official knowledge of multiplayer. What it's like, how it works, and how it ties to the single player. The interesting aspect of course is the idea of strike teams, which can grant single player awards either automatically, or through a multiplayer session. With release only a few days away, I think we should have this thread dedicated to inviting other players to their own strike teams.
Basically if you're interested in playing multiplayer, you would reply to this thread that you're interested so others can see your game tags and invite you to games if they want to.
But perhaps your one of a few who want to go an extra mile and make a full fledged team, perhaps a Strike team for your game? I think an easy way to do this is for someone to reply to this thread saying that they want to make a strike team. They might have specifications for who they want in their team (maybe it's all biotic, maybe you need a tactical position filled, or perhaps you want it to be comprised entirely of one race). Then people who want to join that team will reply saying that he wants to join the team.
I know that a single team can only hold up to 4 players, but I don't know how many teams each player would get. Also, because I doubt everybody will have massive boosters upon release, you might want to keep race specifications to a minimum until a point where people can comftorbly say they have a good number of races.
For example, I want to have a Strike Team called Shadow Pheonix. It would be a mixed race team, but I'll need one sniper, one tank, one support character (stripping defenses) and probably one damage dealer. If you're interested, just say you'd like to join Shadow Pheonix and when I get the chance to play, I'll invite you to the match.
