Just a little rant because I'm annoyed. The steelbook case, for those how haven't seen, comes with the "super" collectors editions, ie the ones with the remote control Nomad but without an actually copy of the game. However, they did offer it separately as an exclusive to Best Buy, so not too bad. Best Buy had it available on their website for preorder for $10.00. Again, not to bad. I've had my eye on it for about a month, but I wanted to make sure I had everything else I needed squared away before I picked it up. Got everything squared away yesterday and had a little bit of left over money, so I went to order it this evening.
The price is now $20.00.
Because of course it is. It was literally half that price from January until today, but go and figure the exact day I beside to buy it, they double the price. Way to blatantly gouge people who don't know better when they see it sitting on the selves at the game launch. And of course, it's "exclusive", so you either pony up the money or don't buy it. Looks like I'll be picking it up six months from now when the leftovers get moved to the bargain bin. I know, I know, people will pay what they think it's worth, don't tell me how to/ how not to spend my money, etc. Just wanted to vent a little.
