So, I thought it might be fun to have something else to do/discuss/play while waiting for the release!
Let's start with HOW THE GAME WORKS!
You describe your Ryder; male, female, role, what type of personality do they have, what's their motivation, what type of love interest are they looking for (gender, personality type, etc.), and anything else you think will create a 'dating profile' for your Ryder.
Then, other posters will 'suggest' an Andromeda character, ANY ANDROMEDA CHARACTER, for your lucky Ryder to romance! If you agree with their suggestion for you, or for another player, give 'em a like!
Now, this is IS NOT TO DISCUSS THE ROMANCES, CONFIRMED OR OTHERWISE, but just a chance to play something fun while we wait.
Here is an example, starting with my own personal Ryder plan;
Nathan 'Neon' Ryder
An adventurer at heart, the youngest Ryder has wanted nothing more than to lead the way for others, not for ego or fame, but to be part of a wave, a movement, to be the one to hold the door for others, and to make sure they get out on the way back. Casual to any and all off hours, soon as the armor goes on, Ryder is the professional; 'yes, ma'am, no sir' and all in between. He wants to buy you a drink and play darts (and likely lose at them), but then he wants to cover your back and keep your six. Friendly, warm, Ryder received the nickname of 'Neon' for his dyed blue hair, a trademark he's kept since he was first old enough to defy his legendary father, Alec. While he holds a warm relationship with his sister, Neon has been less than lucky getting his father's approval, but this is not a source of angst, but motivation to be himself. He is heterosexual

PeeBee
If a soldier is the way to play, then he needs someone to be the brains. PeeBee is a 'rogue academic,'' and if Neon lives to pull people out of the fire, then a lovely lady who may throw more at him than he can handle may just be his style.

Scott Ryder (obviously)
Srong, polite, kind to his friend but fierce to his enemy. He also a bit nerd and believe in religion. Scott's not into alien thing (in term of relationship) but always have soft spot for Royal relative. He's GAY but never has boyfriend before Becasue he always fall to wrong guy.
Suggested partner:
Liam
Even Scott's biotic expert but he always love to stay in front line. That why Liam can fit the partner position. Tech/Biotic guy in front line together = Perfect combo for Scott.
OR maybe that's just excuse for him to share his time with Liam more.

She is often very kind, but has no patience for religion or fanatics of any sort - though she leans more towards being agnostic than atheist. Loves her brother dearly, and she repsects her father, but she would not describe her feelings for her father as a deep love.
She is demisexual and in a relationship having a connection with the person is more important, than their sexual prefferences and so on. She does prefer men, when it comes to romantic relationships.

Instead, this is about a Salarian who views a logical, scientific, and careful explorer, one who could share their zeal for the unknown and learning. Sure, Kallo is a pilot, but he helped design the Tempest. Imagine, for everything that Sara makes, Kallo can fly. The ultimate team, of interest and follow through, about connection and respect. Dr. Lexi Smart, sassy, sure of her self, Lexi seems to distance herself from other people, and I can see that working, here. Science over dinner, medicine over coffee, galactic affairs over wine. You want intellect? Here's someone beautiful, poised, and has the voice of a queen. |

Bros before... different bros... never mind I actually didn't care much for Liam at first, but then I saw bits and pieces from the twitch stream at Pax (tried to keep my self spoiler free - sort of). Now I actually adore him quite a lot, romancing him or not  I hope your Scott will be able to be with him - and if not that the modders will be on top of it very quickly |

Scott Rhys Ryder
A scrapper who will do anything for his friends , a dark and witty sense of humur a talanted and natural soldier thinks nothing of throwing him self in the way of a bullett, hides his caring side through being casual. Hides a deep self doubt even though he is naturally talanted and can get the job done. Has a good relationship with his sistr but she has always seemed more the leader who has a better relationship with her faher. Scott had a lot of friction with his dad
Perfect love intrest
Vetra Scott sees another soldier who hides her true feeling and how much she cares he likes her attitude and her flexability

Is it sad i've already planned three Ryders lol? Also bc i'm gay af ofc they're all queer ok Lann RyderShe’s a seasoned soldier who’s Seen Things and will get the mission done no matter what. She doesn’t dwell on collateral damage; she’s accepted it happens and has made her peace with it. She leads with order before compassion, and will make sure her subordinates know their place. That’s not to say she’s heartless; she’ll defend her family (especially her twin brother, Drake) and she’s fiercely loyal to her soldiers, and leads with a “tough love” kind of attitude. She's also got her fair share of BioWare Snark™ because who can't resist being a sass? I don't usually play "darkside" characters in games so i'm really looking forward to fleshing out Lann. She's the more renegade side of paragade. I wanna romance her with Vetra, but what do y'all think? Ruminant Ryder(okay full disclosure here I just Really Love My Lavellan and I wanna throw her into Andromeda okay don't judge) Rumi has a kind heart but a dark sense of humour, and will always go out of her way to protect others. Raised conservative Jewish, she's decided to believe more reform; she's not afraid to question her beliefs but she's proud of who she is and her heritage. Hasn't always been the happiest with a gun, she serves because she has to, not because she wants to. tbh I want to romance her with Peebee bc Rumi romanced Sera in DAI so of course she'll go for Space!Sera, but with all the stuff with Suvi and religion and science I feel they could be really interesting together. Sara RyderDefault Sara, is good. Pure. Has done nothing wrong in her life. So Paragon, she farts Asari Diplomats. Fulfills my need to be a goody-two-shoes lawful good in every goddamn video game I play. She's gonna be a flirt though. Is there a flirt option in this conversation? She goes for it. Borderline Space!Isabela level of flirt here. |

Kat Ryder She's the person who tries to be everyone's friend and is very flirty. She wants to do what best by people and will never kill someone unless its a life or death situation. When it comes to romance she prefers someone who stands up for themselves and is her rock in life. She won't take anyone that insults or makes fun of religious beliefs as shes religious herself. Having a different set of beliefs doesn't bother her however. I'm hoping to romance her with Liam because he seems a very compassionate man, but I'm worried he might be too emotional. I'm also thinking Suvi since she's religious and I really appreciate that whole dialog scene about it (props to who ever wrote it). She is loyal to her soldiers, cutthroat, and seems to be clever if not out and out snarky. She even looks renegade. She is a pretty good mirror of your Ryder and a romance might imply a lot about your character and maybe allow her to grow a bit as well. Suvi, without a doubt. Add into all that, the idea of the scientist back on the ship who doesn't see combat juxtaposes well with a Soldier not entirely comfortable with a fighting. They both have some science backgrounds. Suvi seems incredibly well meaning and introspective person that seems just her speed. It's a tie here for me. Vetra seems like a nice person who cares a lot about others and has found a way to use that natural instinct as a skill. She finds out what people like/need and find a way to be the middle woman so everyone walks away happy. On the otherhand, Jaal is new and your Ryder might want to date him simply on uniqueness. He seems a nice guy too from the little we've seen. |
