I vote unpin non-squadmates, or even just keep Ryders pinned. Pinning is convenient but I have to agree with the 'bad' option, the scrolling to check new stuff is a bit of a pain.

I think that the squad, ship crew and ryder family should be pinned.

I don't have a problem with scrolling through the list and it is easier when you want to see if there is any new info about a character without having to search 2 pages for their thread.

And if we get some important characters later on (Like the Archon) that is of interest they should get pinned as well.

In this forum, mods can put an anchor on a thread, causing it to fall in spite of any attempt to bump it. There wasn't an anchor in the old forums...

I'd maybe prefer just unpinned everything and letting threads compete of attention, would definitely bring newest threads to where people can see them as well. Downside: more minor characters or those that people aren't as interested as would fade away to double digit pages. But.. if nobody cared about them the first place why would it matter.
