High hopes = High disappointment
Remembering Mass Effect Trilogy, We expect same feelings as before but funny thing is that sometimes we remember it wrong, those graphics might have looked then advanced but now they look bad.
Maybe the new game is not so bad as you think, maybe it is just your desire to feel or experience the same what you experienced before.
How many times do we think that something that happened in the past was way better than now, so we hope to feel the same in the future.
Relax, they have worked for it for 5 years and i'm sure you will recognize the theme ones you start playing, forget the original ME and just treat it as a new beginning.
No one will replace Shepard so lets give our Ryder a chance to tell his/her story.

Its best to never let ones hopes get to high for any game no matter who the developer is. Then you can spend your gaming life being pleasantly surprised not annoyingly disappointed

Considering Eidos Montreal has a shaky record of games at best, the direction Mankind Divided went wasn't really surprising. BioWare, on the other hand, at least has a proven history of excellence. Whether MEA will follow suit is anyone's guess, but it certainly has a far better chance of being a success than Deus Ex, which is not indefinitely on the shelf.
Not to mention, Mass Effect is popular on consoles. Deus Ex was popular on PC and I don't believe it ever truly gained a fan base on consoles.

My expectations are extremely low and I expect to be massively disappointed. In short, I expect Sonic Boom - Rise of Lyric.

Weird OP. I personally liked DX:MD a lot, it's my favorite game of 2016. Lots of things to explore, pretty awesome quests, improved gameplay over DX:HR and I personally don't give a shit it ended on a sequel hook (except for the fact that all the haters made sure no sequels will ever be made).

I am not exactly sure what the OP is meaning by "stupid small" though either, for Mankind Divided's areas felt much larger then most of Human Revolution.

BioWare, on the other hand, at least has a proven history of excellence. I think its very important to note that Mass Effect: Andromeda is being made by a completely different Bioware team then the one that created the original trilogy(ie Bioware Edmonton). Mac Walters is the only one still around who worked on the original 3 if im not mistaken. Bioware Edmonton is working on an entirely new Bioware IP. So this game is by Bioware Montreal mostly. The Bioware that never let you down with its proven history of excellence, that Bioware of old no longer exists at this point in time. The current iteration of Bioware(who are essentially an entirely new company, as all the guys who put Bioware on the map have long since left) they have nothing in common with the Bioware of old except the name. Its very much a shell of its former self.

Its very much a shell of its former self. That's definitely not accurate. Quite a few of the team members at BioWare Montreal (leadership and developers) worked at BioWare Edmonton previously. It's also worth pointing out that BioWare Montreal has done a lot of the DLC for BioWare games, with the Citadel DLC being their biggest success. BioWare Montreal even created the very popular ME3 MP that everybody loves to rave about. BioWare Montreal isn't some novice studio that's never had any experience with a BioWare product before. The studio was just never large enough previously to actually develop it's own title, so it was a supplemental studio. The doctors really had no actual input on any BioWare titles since the Baldur's Gate days. David Gaider, who was the lead writer on DAO, DAII, and DAI, has left BioWare to work on the new Baldur's Gate game. Casey Husdon was the Creative Director on the Mass Effect trilogy, but Drew Karpyshyn (lead writer on ME1 and ME2) and Mac Walters (lead writer on ME3) are still at BioWare, albeit different studios in BioWare. Mike Laidlaw, who is the Creative Director for Dragon Age, has been at BioWare as far back as at least Jade Empire, which he was the lead writer on, and he also worked on the first Mass Effect game. Much of the actual core of BioWare is still very much there. What BioWare lost was mostly the face of the organization, but not the talent.

MD was kind of boring and the plot left me feeling like a kid stuck on a road trip watching your parents drive past the cool roadside dinosaur and taking you to some like candle-making shop. Mankind Divided Spoiler ALERT ALERT WEEEOOO WEEEOOOO Did the "This Jensen is actually a clone" thing amount to anything beyond that storage locker/a nod to Denton later in the timeline?

DX: MD was good game overall, the ending (OMG again about the ending ) was not so good. Still it was only slight disappointment after HR, I hope that MEA will be at least the same small ''disappointment'' for me or magically it will be even a nice surprise.

Had High hopes for tht game, but was an utter failure I was just talking about this kind of hyperbolic "masterpiece or garbage" attitude in another thread. You were disappointed in the game not meeting your expectations, fair enough. But declaring it a complete failure is just objectively false.
