Had High hopes for tht game, but was an utter failure I was just talking about this kind of hyperbolic "masterpiece or garbage" attitude in another thread. You were disappointed in the game not meeting your expectations, fair enough. But declaring it a complete failure is just objectively false. Anyone who thinks Mankind Divided was an utter failure clearly never played Invisible War

I still don't get the point of this thread. Whatever DEMD was, it's clearly not what MEA is. Multiple reviews/previews have said that for whatever good and bad you can say about it, it's a BIG game. And I liked DEMD. It was more of a glorified expansion pack than a full on release (ditto Far Cry 4), but getting more of what I liked is still good.

The doctors really had no actual input on any BioWare titles since the Baldur's Gate days. David Gaider, who was the lead writer on DAO, DAII, and DAI, has left BioWare to work on the new Baldur's Gate game. Casey Husdon was the Creative Director on the Mass Effect trilogy, but Drew Karpyshyn (lead writer on ME1 and ME2) and Mac Walters (lead writer on ME3) are still at BioWare, albeit different studios in BioWare. Mike Laidlaw, who is the Creative Director for Dragon Age, has been at BioWare as far back as at least Jade Empire, which he was the lead writer on, and he also worked on the first Mass Effect game. Much of the actual core of BioWare is still very much there. What BioWare lost was mostly the face of the organization, but not the talent. One small corrections: Mac Walters is still with Mass Effect. In fact he became the Creative Diretor after Casey Hudson left. I don't believe I ever said Mac Walters wasn't still with Mass Effect... In fact, I explicitly stated, unlike Casey Hudson, he's still at BioWare. Obviously, everybody knows he's the Creative Director on MEA as he has been in most of the promotional videos. I apologize for not being more clear.
