How Do You Play Multiplayer?

Such a thing is merely a legend whispered among stories of "git gud scrub" and "u bed?"

I'm never mean so I usually try to help out if I can.

I tend to feel bad if I don't revive someone. But I also know when not to like when doing objectives or they died somewhere too far to do it safely.

On the other hand, if someone is not into teamwork and are just off doing stuff on their own, I'm not going to go out of my way to help them when they need it.

I usually only berate people if they're playing so bad they have to be trolling or they make a sexist comment towards me. Luckily the latter doesn't happen in the PC scene but boy did I get that a lot when I was still a console peasant. Most of the time people generally start playing smart when you say "can you do X instead of going off on your own and dying?" Still coming from the world first/speedruning/elitist scene you can dish out a lot of toxicity sometimes unfairly to newbies which is why I generally kick suspiciously new players prematch or ask if they're new. I can just imagine if they're first hour they meet someone who treats them poorly when they rightfully don't know what they're doing. Being new isn't a crime, refusing to learn is though.

That's how I feel when someone would show up in my lobby with three korgan vanguards wondering why were taking dirt naps after headbutting an atlas. Oh man I miss getting drunk and doing shit like that and still pulling out a win and having the pug be like wtf is even going on. pugs being in a group of very good players are always funny to see cuz their score is so low and they're just running to get at least some kills.
