Some tidbits

- "Save this World State" - you can save world states. This is the Keep basically
- "You cannot add more friends at this time. If you'd like to add this friend, you'll need to remove someone from your list." - There seems to be a friends feature which can be used to...
- "Share your world states and Interactive Story Summary with friends! "
- You can edit the world state in the "tapestry" which is probably just an imported term they'll rephrase for Mass Effect
- You can choose default ryder (quickstart) or custom Ryders obvs.
- "Shepard" - AKA: Shepard's status (just gender I'd assume) will be tracked for multiple Andromedas
- "Your personas" - I'm not sure what this means. It might be our tone-tendency. Useful if they decide not to re-use Ryder in Andromeda 2 or change the dialogue system
- "Dark Horse Comics" - well, well. We'll probably have Darkhorse create the summary slideshows

Well, there's that. Looks like it's DA Keep but reskinned and customized for Andromeda-specific plot-flags obviously.

I still think they're waiting to hear fan response to Ryder before they decide.
It basically shows that there's the possibility we'll not play as him but it doesn't necessarily imply it.

For example, I don't think it was locked down that Hawke wouldn't be the hero of DA3 before they realized fans hated DA2. Remember how Flemeth tells his prophecy like "Great things will come for you" as if he has some long-spanning heroic role coming but that never happens because DA2 ended on a cliffhanger and they sidelined him in DA:I.

They said MEA is a saga not a trilogy, and said they might or might not bring Ryder back, but if not, Ryder can possibly show up still. Most likely they are going the DA route.

It is the way are doing the save imports now. They could have done it with the mass effect trilogy and it would have been the same.

It's probably a lot to do with the fact that the "saga" will almost certainly end up crossing console generations even if it is only 3 games. It's just future proofing as I'm guessing they will have no clue how direct importing to the next gen will work as yet so this is the safe option.

Also The Keep system bugged me greatly.
I am a very methodical person and often spent hours there just to have The Keep reset while I am reading and planning. <_<

On top of the fact that sometimes it would not even work and crashed my browser.
So I say no to a beta induced bug fest of a mess.
I will take an offline version first.
