So after reading the reviews on ME:A's CC, I started thinking about my own experience and got curious (though this was probably asked a million times): do you use custom characters or default? I was never able to create gorgeous characters like some here (I've seen the "post your character" threads and GOSH people are creating some darn sexy characters here! I was never able to do that  ). For that reason I almost always use the default characters (unless there is no real default, like DA:O and DA:I). I'd love to create my own, they just turn out ugly as fuck... I mean worst ugly as possible! So which one do you pick?  |

It's as awful as I was suspecting I mean, the faces are fine - it was taken from fine presets, but they are all the same! What a disappointment for someone used to spend hours in CC. sometimes just for the sake of new face creation. |

I don't play many games, let alone RPGs (Only Mass Effect tbh). But I always want to make something custom and often I somewhat succeed due to the fact that I can't continue if I don't like the looks |

I always make a custom character. I usually manage to make a very good looking Shepard/Dragon Age protagonist, so the fact that the CC in Andromeda is more limited than previous entries is kind of frustrating. I'll manage, but still, come on Bioware...

I always make custom characters, in DAI I even tried to create myself and succeeded while also I was disappointed in my appearance xD
So I'm still hopeful that CC in MEA will get better one day. I guess I can do without it, but it will be less fun, since I don't have early access and I'm not sure I can create something like a typical fair-skinned caucasian female like myself (or at least get something nice without ending up with dark-skinned dad).

It looks more limited, easier to produce something decent if you're normally bad with these things and harder/impossible to get exactly what you want if you're normally good with them and/or have something particular in mind. I always play around with custom characters, but I'm pretty bad with making decent looking ones and I don't have anything specific in mind, so I'm going to go play with it tonight and see if I can produce something good to support this theory. |
