From videos I've seen so far it seem that Salarian in ME:Andromeda don't have they distinguishable frog like irises and instead have purely black eyes. I personally don't think it hurts their appearance so much - although it still changes it significantly - but I would still like to know if I'm correct and what do other people think of this.

I was surprised to find the krogan fairly significantly changed as well, personally I like it, they seem more 'real'

They also don't have Indian sounding accents. That still bugs me. We've never encountered a Salarian with that accent before.

I just find it odd that after all the encounters with this species, there's finally an Indian sounding Salarian. I can also say the same with Dormer's English accent for the Asari. I don't recall ever hearing an English sounding Asari, correct me if I'm mistaken.

If humans can have multiple different accents, why are aliens restricted to only one? It has been proven that even animals of the same species but in different parts of the world also have "accents". So humans are not unique in this regard.

Look at it in this fashion, geographical locations can alter human accents ect so perhaps certain Salarians or Asari are from different planets and the universal translator is approximating an accent that would best fit.
