Yea you. You're the problem.
The game has flaws for sure and the devs should be held accountable for many of them.
CC is very limited. Some performance issues on some machines (probably driver related). The intro can be a bit "duh" for some ME veterans. Not being able to save during plot missions kinda sucks in exploration-heavy environments. Some hilarious movement bugs etc...
Still, what I find utterly HILARIOUS is that people think that when they dislike something, it's necessarily because of the object of their scorn rather than themselves.
You don't like the facial animations? Stop fucking staring at them and looking for reasons to hate them. Jesus I wouldn't even have noticed them if I didn't read this damn forum. Of course they are going to look like robots if you stare hard enough. I know people IRL that are "badly animated" by your standards.
You dislike the CC? Yeah I do too. Is it REALLY enough to destroy the game for you? Just work with it til they fix it. You'll love your character all the same whether or not they have a twisted nose. Didn't you play games where your face was pixelated as fk? The presets are scans of real people. Just pick one for now.
You think the story is bad? How about you get past the introduction? How about you admit that you won't enjoy every type of story that is told? How about you admit that after years of being exposed to every type of story out there, you're bound to see some similarities and connections? Yeah things can be overdone, but you also can be overexposed to particular things. How about you admit that Perhaps you don't like quick-paced introductions.
Don't like exploration? Then don't play a game marketed as exploration-heavy. It seems BioWare is heading in that direction (and for the better IMO). If you don't like it, stop expecting otherwise. Don't be anal about looking under every nook and cranny if it bothers you. If you're a completionist then suppress that need if it pisses you off. If you can't, move on.
I can see through it. It's so damn transparent. You just enter the game with a negative bias, nitpick every flaw irrespective of degree, while ignoring every single positive thing you encounter to justify your bias.
A word of advice for gaming in general. Just fucking move on already and stop bitching at every flaw you encounter. You'll enjoy shit more that way.

This narrative has barely even started for crying out loud. People crying about baggage are the ones who are bringing it in. I entered this game expecting the Mass Effect ethos not a sequel.

Don't remind me the people sending death threats to the devs and their families just proved how overly attached some people are to video games to the point of medical illness. Thankfully no one has crossed any lines this time but they're still overreacting.

Regarding the animations, some do look bad, that's a fact. But some take a particular screenshot during a certain moment of the animation and the result of course can be hilarious. This happens all the time in real life, but now I see individuals blowing it out of proportion.
It didn't bother me that much, because in-game, it's so fast, as it should be. But yeah, others are lifeless and broken.

I'll admit to having a rocky start with the game but Once I got past all the introduction stuff and into the game proper I am enjoying it more but I still am seeing issues that should be addressed.

I'm giving them perspective for why they might not like it and their part in why they might not like it. My personal opinion though? The issues people have raised don't nearly justify disliking the game unless you are truly anal.

I agree with you OP. I really enjoy the game. Yeah it has some flaws, but they are very minor when you look at the big picture. Most of the game you're only seeing the back of your character's head anyway.
The one thing I hope they do add, is the ability to skip the galaxy map cutscenes (moving from planet to planet). But again...very small gripe, because we actually spend very little time on the galaxy map.

Translation: "RRREEEEE! Why can't everyone like the same games I like?! Can't they see that my opinion is superior?! If they don't like it, something must be wrong with them! Obviously precious Bioware can do no wrong!" These types of threads seems to be getting popular I expect to see more once the game releases next week.

Oh here you go giving me some subjective standards for what you consider acceptable in AAA games. Literally every AAA that has come out in recent years has been a buggy mess on release with incomplete features. I do laugh when people conveniently forget how DLC and patches improved on their previous gaming experiences when judging fresh releases. I'm just confused by people's own realities. In fact MEA's release has been smoother than most. The fact that the major complaints are character creation and the few facial animations is a good thing.

More like; "Can everyone stop acting like spoiled children, ready to hate the game based on only minor surface imperfections that really don't matter or affect the quality of the game on the whole? The game has a few chipped nails, but that's no reason to take it behind the coal shed and shoot it."

Also reading comprehension failures are always funny for a laugh. Thank you. I'm not blaming people for not liking the game. I'm telling people that the fact that they dislike something may be a result of their own biases and viewpoints rather than the game itself

Before watching the early access videos on YouTube, I was ready to downright hate I his game. Now all this needs is more time in develop(Give or take a few months) and it could do without the cheesy characters in it. As for buying it, I'm unsure. This is my 2 cent's, make of it as you will.
