Maybe this is a sign of my old age, or slight bout of red-green color blindness (suffered from 8% of Northern European men...and I'm Persian!!!), but is anyone else having trouble finding mission markers in multiplayer? Some rounds I find myself rotating the camera for 30 seconds before I finally locate the damn things.
If I'm not alone, perhaps we can petition Bioware to come up with another method to give a location marker? Perhaps a different color, or have it blinking? As it stands, I have no problems finding the green markers on screen that signifies fellow players, but for the life of me, during the trial period I was spending too much precious time just trying to figure out what direction I had to run for the markers.
(God, please don't let it be just me....)

I have the same problem. Same with finding enemies too. I feel like I spend too much time just spinning in circles trying to find an objective or a baddie. The UI is crap compared to ME3MP.

As far as finding enemies, they did add something that's pretty cool. On top of the screen they added a compass with red dots for where the enemy is a la Fallout 3/4. Once I noticed that, it made finding enemies to shoot much easier instead of running around like a flailing newb looking for something to shoot. But those markers man, finding those just plain suck as it stands.

Ya, as lame as this may sound, I actually miss the spawn points in ME3MP. As long as I knew where my teammates were, I knew exactly where the enemy was or where they were going to be. I suppose this change is for the better, and maybe I'm just getting old.

I have no color blindness but it's been hard for me, as well. I don't know why, but it takes a long time to find them.

It just blends in with all the other crisp colorful crap onscreen.
When I joke about some games making me want to down a bottle of phenobarbital, I actually used to have seizures when I was young. Most games I can play fine, but say for example, someone has rapidly blinking Christmas Lights of multiple colors, I literally cannot look at them for 1 second before getting a migraine.
As games get more crisp, colorful, and refined, I'm having a harder time keeping track of things onscreen. The example that sticks most to mind are racing games. My brother and I used to be REALLY good at racing games. Gran Turismo 1 on the PlaystationX was probably the epitome for us. With dozens of vastly different cars, we could do a 99 lap race, and the outcome would often be determined by who messed up ONE TURN in the entire race.
Several years later, he had some high-def racing game on Xbox 360, played on a big flatscreen tv mounted on the wall. I kept running off the road because I couldn't tell where the road met the offroad.
The more realistic-looking games become, the harder it is getting for my brain to process them. Or something.

+1 also found myself spinning in circles looking around. once I figured out the enemy locator bar up top that helped with locating enemies since the audio does not help in any way.

Same here. Making the the exact same size, shape, and color of the teammate markers make it almost impossible to quickly distinguish between them.

Yep, had a hard time too. Especially annoying when swamped with enemies that won't feck off long enough for me to spin the camera to find where to go.
