Zaeed confirmed for being even more of an asshole. I'm not surprised. My friend who plays ME with me will have a bonding moment where we share our mutual distaste (or hate, on her end) for Zaeed. Also I think he actually looks similar enough. |

That's pretty damn cool, I hope there are more throwbacks like this. Well, when you get to the Nexus for the first time, the Turian who greets you and brings you to the main part of the ship is called Lieutanant Tiran Kandros... just like Nyreen Kandros from the Omega DLC. It hasn't been confirmed if there's any parental link between the two but it's still a nice throwback/easter egg.  |

I had to keep shaking my head at some who insisted it'd be so. MEA will least require playing previous games to understand its plot, setting, characters since ME1 itself (duh). Sure. But a fresh start is not a start, and I don't remember anyone at Bioware indicating anything like that. |

Gonna be honest; I hate things like this. Star Wars is SUPER guilty of the unneeded 4th wall winking cameos. One in a great while, or if used effectively, is fine, mybe even great, or if the character pathcrossing makes sense (see most of the MCU), but random "HEY LOOK AT THIS CONNECTION THAT ADDS NOTHING" doesn't do it for me. Though Star Wars gets a small pass for 'it's a small world' as the Force is arguably at play.
That said, I do miss Zaeed, too!
