Can't figure it out and don't want to accidentally skip one.

Well you've never been able to in previous Mass Effect games. On Xbox I always bring up the guide or go to the dashboard, that always pauses it automatically. Should work for Playstation and PC I guess.

Can't figure it out and don't want to accidentally skip one. If you are on Xbox One, you can hit the Xbox button in the centre top off the controller and go to the dashboard pausing it.

Sadly I don't think you can if your on PC, this is very inconvenient. Was hoping they would finally make this Mass Effect title have this feature added in.

Have you tried the Origin overlay? I know it sucks, but it may pause the cinematics. Other than that i don't think you can.

If you're in fullscreen mode alt-tabbing to desktop should theoretically work. Haven't tested it, but it has worked in other games.. won't work in windowed or borderless windowed mode though.

I'm bummed I can't skip scenes like Tempest landing or departing from Nexus/planet. They look beautiful at first but after a couple of times it's tiresome to watch them.
I have a guess they act as loading screen and that's why. Yeah, I know Bioware said no loading screens but some games started to do it recently. Cutscenes = loading screens.
