See, i cant even get to the part where you scan that first machine to fix it. cora never leaves the cryo pod to tell me to meet her at the door. i can go through the door, and the thing even explodes, but i cant pull out my scanner or do anything.

Im kinda surprised that nobody mentioned that this happened to them as well It has been mentioned before it seems if you restart you get duplicates and in general npcs in the wrong areas. I guess Q&A didn't remake characters to see if that could break the game. |

I think I understand what happened there...
This area has let's say 3 playable "phases", in each phase the objects and the NPCs are different or have different placement.
Phase 1 - During the zero gravity incident.
Phase 2 - Right after the incident.
Phase 3 - When you revisit the Hyperion to check on your sibling.
I think the game loaded all the phases at once that's why it got so crowded.
You can see people unaffected by low gravity.
You can see objects flying after Cora fixes the gravity.
You can see Sarah lying on a bed.

I had same problem but not with my character, some other human had turian sitting on his lap. I just made myself believe that's normal and moved on xD.
But you have some fucked up download because to be honest everyone in your video are behaving weirdly.

Clear, simple and direct evidence that BW run every preset through the cut-scenes in order to make a good face-animation (how the hell did they fail?!). And the very reson why we got us "character chooser" and not a "character creator". They thought this way it will be perfect, like Witcher of Tomb Raider. WHY do they always try to fix something that is not broken, WHY?! Because there are people who complained about it in previous games. That's how MEA ended up with scanned faces for all protag (people complained Sheploo looked better than custom), why MEA facial animations are more expressive (the mocapped ones, this is the first BioWare game with facial mocap) and why some DAI style not!cutscene dialogues now looks like cutscenes with bad animations (they moved the camera closer to the faces). BioWare always overcompensate. Always. |
