So what sex is Shepard when you QuickStart?

I have a bad feeling from the OP.

After I read them (too much information if i must say), I fee like you will be mad if quick start give you Female Shepard.

Also yeah, I agree with the fact that the OP might be fishing for inflamatory remarks, but I also think he's not wrong to ask!

Because when you do not quickstart and don't change it you probably get female Shepard (she's the first entry if I remember this right!)...I am NOT saying that this is wrong (I frankly don't really care because for me Shepard only gains a gender once I decide who to play, so for all I care Shepard is genderless till you select it in the game...sure they said they'd make it a male if they'd make a movie, but so far? Nope, the books don't mention the gender as far as I know (don't know about the comics, but I believe they don't))

ps: Might this have been done deliberate by say Manveer Heir? Maybe! But even that dickwad doesn't have the influence to totally strike male Shepard - thank god! I'll select who I want in every run (at first I'll keep the gender the same as my chosen Ryder's gender - so male for Scott (I'll stick with the names for now, I want the voice acting to mention his/her name, instead of always saying "Ryder") and female for Sara...later on I'll switch it around probably (female for Scott and male for Sara...if I do 4 runs that is...if it's anywhere near as good as ME2, well I'll play the shit out of it

I've made two custom starts and in both them the defauldt was FemShep.

my custom was femryder and femshep default so I guess it randomized it to avoid picking a solid canon pretty cool.




The thread would have gone the same way. It would include me asking, people answering while insinuating I'm sexist, causing me to read it back and agree that I phrased my points poorly.

I blame SJWs! Fem Shep was retconned to have never saved the galaxy because she doing her job in the kitchen, making sandwiches.
