This came up on the JE thread. I'm eager to get my hands on a stable, accessible version of JE; but I'm unconvinced that this game will translate well to a touchscreen.
Swoop Racing in KotOR was terrible. I loved the KotOR iPad adaption, but that was the one part of the game in which a "controller" of some sort was desperately needed. Reflecting upon my very recent experience with it gives me pause when I think of JE on iPad. The pic of the possible "button" layout gives me personal worries, too. It wouldn't affect any of you guys, but I have joint/connective tissue issues. I don't want to subluxate my thumb MP trying to play the game.
We will see. It's cool that they've taken on the project, at any rate. This could be a way for me to reconnect with JE, as I have with KotOR. They've even promised new content! And I always laughed at the idea of gaming on my phone or tablet. Who knew they'd bring my old favorites to those devices?

Looking forward to getting this for my ipad.
Did this game flop? Why was there no sequel? I'm seeing some incomprehensible tweets by Mike Laidlaw and Mark Darrah about it being "far from perfect". I thought it was awesome.

Just heard the news. Let's hope this will remind BW about existence of that great game - their own! not some developed franchise! - and push them to, idk, make JE2?
Also, hope that JE-IOS was not the "secret project" they have been working on?
