I understand animations are not exactly state-of-the-art, but we should stop overreacting as if every NPC had ridiculous facial animations. Sure there are problems in today's release build of ME:A, but mostly with Ryders themselfs - so it should be easier to fix since they need to mostly concentrate on their faces + a handful of other NPCs. This hasn't been yet fixed in Day 1 patch, so they will improve animations with time.

When it's not important scenes the animations are also really bad. Stop being apologetic and pretend it's not an issue. If it were a Fallout game from Bethesda let alone from 2010 I could live with it, but Mass Effect always had "digital acting" as one of its key features. That's gone unless they make a major overhaul to these problems. Not a gamebreaker, but please stop pretending there's no reason to be disappointed over this let alone react accordingly.
