So far I am a bit mixed on Andromeda's first few missions. Not saying they are poorly paced, but the fact that Ryder and his crew don't even feel that sad for Alec's passing is weird to say the least, but that also makes me wonder if he is truly dead.
What interests me the most is the whole mystery surrounding none other but Alec Ryder. Many of his lines in the brief prologue hints that he knows far more than he disclosed to the player character. He knew how to interface with Remnant technology which even Archon wasn't able to do. He leaves his crew after his shuttle crashes not to make contact with other survivors but to scot the Remnant facility plus his insistence on landing on Habitat 7 before reaching Nexus indicates he has his own agenda at least to me. Bits and pieces like this cause me to theorize that maybe Alec arrived ahead of Hyperion to Helius Cluster somehow and have stayed for at least several months for him to obtain these knowledge.
Overall, the theme of the story seems to be the same old synthetic and organic kind of deal, but who knows. What do you guys think what the Kett and Archon are up to?

I got the impression that the alien ruins held some kind of religious significance for the archon's race and he, as their leader, not being able to interact with them while these new comers seemingly can threatens his power and position.
