The Nexus is weird. People on it are particularly buggy feeling. The plot is left wide open. Addison is particularly poorly animated.

Why were we 14 months late? Why did our ship have to correct course while we were asleep? Why do almost all of the humans on the Nexus have the same eyes?

This isn't shitty game design, this is a plot. That's not Addison.

I'm inclined to agree that there's something going on wrt the people on the Nexus. However, I'm leaning towards "minor gas leak that is never addressed by the narrative".

Don't like Addison, but I'm not sure the trial period was enough to explain why the human ark arrived late. Since the turian and asari arks haven't shown up either we have to assume there's more to be revealed.

Addison is uniquely annoying. Perhaps she's going to be a secret villain? If she is, then it's a good choice. Remember, just because you don't like a character doesn't mean she's bad. If she's meant to be annoying, then it's mission accomplished.
