Did another check, this time without interference - it showed updates rates of 2hz client -> server and 2hz server -> client. (and no, I didn't miss a zero there... ) Can't be that low, should be something between 10Hz and 30Hz. But it depends on what is actually happening. If everyone just sits there quietly in cover and only one enemy remains non-moving somewhere, it can get down to 2Hz, supposed to be dynamic.

By the way were you using wireshark(or an equivalent) to capture the network data to get the time deltas from the previous displayed frame detailing the ICMP echo request? I just want to know exactly what you did to capture this information and I'm not doubting you but that's how I would have gone about doing it but alas I'm out trial time... Actually, you could just put your testing parameters in its own post (it really deserves it) because if your results are true than the network settings are worse than I even thought imaginable. 2Hz.... Really Bioware 2Hz?

A test would be to host players with good connections, then make them use something like jagt.github.io/clumsy/ to introduce heavy lag (packet delay), see what happens

(and no, I didn't miss a zero there... ) It would be good to see this in a separate detailed post actually, thats really interesting. For what its worth, I haven't really had time dialation, however, I notice slight input lag when hosting people with bad connections to me at best and severe FPS issues at worst. Not really sure why this happens since its supposed to be P2P, but bioware always surprises. anyone confirm these ports. It's from EA support FAQ page: hereI don't think forwarding ports is going to help, however am I reading this correctly that it suggests opening 10,000 ports? Because the game needs that many???

If this is happening that much, it looks like that might be one of the reasons why they cancelled the beta.
I have not had any time dilation. But I think I ended up being the host of my matches. And I am not sure how great my connection is.

The time dilation bug (at least i hope it is a bug and not a feature) makes MEA multi a "one for all, all for one" game, when one person lags, EVERYONE lags. Now, that might build "cooperation" and "friendship" between us (players)... but no thanks. I rather have my normal multiplayer P2P connection from ME3 back. For the record, I tested a couple of matches while soloing during my last hour of trial and I had absolutely no issue with any form of lag.
Will try again in 30 mins and see if they removed the time dilation.
Update I ran a single match (will only run 1 for now, going to do story) and there wasnt any time dilation. Not sure if its because game is released in my region or they removed the time dilation but for now its good.

I've never experienced lag that made my game go into slow mo. This isn't an FPS drop, I am literally going into slow motion in multiplayer games. Does that mean someone I'm in the game with has a slow connection or something? Only because I played with a couple large streamers the other night and the entire game was fine, but before I joined as a third they also had this issue, so...?
I thought it was me at first but my temps are fine for my GPU and CPU and I don't have anything else open but Andromeda, so, it's not me. And my internet connection is 30MB/s so I know it's not that.
If so this is pretty bad lol. Though I did just manage to beat a Bronze survival mission with 3 people while Slow-mo-ing like 95% of the game so... lol.

From what I've heard it happens when someone is out of sync with the game.

Maybe it's time for a stickied "known issues" thread, so people have a place to go and look if anyone else has the same problem and maybe even a solution.

I was in multiple 4 player matches yesterday without any issues. Everything ran very smoothly. However, I did drop into one match that was on Wave 5. That was crazy rubber-banding where I tried 20 times to enter the hack circle and kept getting pushed back. Somehow we extracted though. From my perspective the other characters seemed to be moving and shooting fine, I was the one stutter stepping through the game.

Surely this is a new (and unintended) "The Matrix" like feature? Strangely, didn't experience this on the XB1. Will see if it happens on PS4 tonight.

Does the Adrenaline rush ability dilate time in SP like it did in ME3?
