its weird with the color tags, for eg- common has a gold/bronze tint to it than the uncommon, which only has white tint.

Yeah, games are just weird that way, I guess. Somewhere along the line, it was decided purple was an indicator of quality. Only really holds true if you're a small man from Minneapolis, but that's what we're hardwired to believe now.

Probably true, although I know Everquest did the whole "purpz or gtfo" thing before WoW. But WoW is, or at least was, a cultural juggernaut. |
