Can saves be transferred between accounts?

So I greedily finished my 10-hour early access trial in a couple of days, and of course now I have withdrawal symptoms. Yes, I know, #firstworldproblems. Luckily for me, it looks like my boyfriend will not be using up his free trial (!), and offered to give me the time he has left so he can stop hearing me complaining about the wait. I'm more interested in hitting story gate in that time, so I was wondering whether saves can be transferred between accounts - as in, I'd send him my savegame, log in under his account, and load the savegame to pick up where I left off. Anyone knows? Thanks.
