Hi all! I am running the game on PC and am at or above all min PC requirements, except that I have 8GM RAM instead of 16. So, when playing the 10-hr trial , I was able to get smooth performance at MEDIUM setting, which is fine. The HIGH setting resulted in frame rate drops. I would like to fiddle with the CUSTOM setting to try to squeeze a bit more texture detail out of this game if I can. However, I have no idea what all the options actually mean (ie, anti-aliasing, etc). Could you guys give me some pointers about stuff I could try to set to LOW, versus stuff I may be able to get away with setting on HIGH? Just looking for some general advice/pointers from folks who know what all those settings actually do and what tends to work well in these types of games. Note - the reason i am asking is because when trying to fiddle with it myself, I have to restart every time and it really ate into my gameplay. I am hoping that when the game goes live, I can attempt to adjust these settings more efficiently based on your thoughts. MANY THANKS! Here are my specs if you need them: OS: Windows 10 Model: Dell Inspiron 7559 Processor: Intel (R) Corm(TM) i7-6700HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz RAM: 8.00 GB 64-Bit NIVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M

Just throwing this out there, might not be the case for you. I was playing high with a worse set up but I do have 16GB. I did get some stuttering for around 20-60 seconds after loading in somewhere. But after that I was fine. So if you flipped over to high saw it acting up and just gave up might wait a bit and see if it clears up.
If you did then Ignore me. Good luck in your hunt!

Hmmm...that is good to know. I was doing quick checks, so I didn't really give it time. I'll try that!

I'm not super familiar with the GTX 960M, but I do know that above medium texture settings, VRAM usage jumps up alot. Normal RAM is a lot slower than your card's, so that may be where your stutter's coming from. I'd say to turn your textures, model, and shader quality to medium and get a feeling for what you're at. Though toggling AA and Post Processing might be the simplest fix. It's easier to just pick a base and toggle one thing higher at a time. Barring that, you could try toggling other possible resource hogs with a user.cfg file, like Motion Blur and DoF.

If those are potentially causing the framerate drops, then perhaps I can get away with HIGH textures if I turn them off. I will definitely try it!
