We all know what a potential catastrophe vanguarding off host could be in ME3MP.
I'm amused that so far, vanguarding off-host seems to be my best bet for handling a laggy match. I've had multiple matches where for every 2 steps forward I'd take, I'd rubber band back a step, meaning getting anywhere took forever. But with a Vanguard, I'm at least able to space teleport to enemies to get around.

Yes, when you have bad lag and rubber-banding, charging with a vanguard is the most reliable way of traversing the map. The reason is that charge actually teleports you right next to your target after half a second.
