With ME:A we are no longer bound by classes but restricted by the number of active ability. Some people (like me) loves to plan their build, and go theory crafting. Did you come with some build you want to try already ? Do you have suggestion to improve a player build ? Post them here.
This is not a "what classes do you want to play" subject. Try to focus on only one profile per character.
For those looking for all abilities descriptions :
For profiles.
Profiles bonuses goes +1/3 of the original bonus. So a +15% rank 1 bonus will become a +20% then 25% and soon.
I came with a few ideas :
DEATH FROM ABOVE
this a soldier build using a low precision/medium stability assault rifle to slaughter the opponents using the hover mechanic.
-Soldier bonus gives some nice bonus weapon
-Assault rifle give a lot of stability and precision if you max out soldier
-Combat fitness add some health, shield and regeneration
-Combat tool add some melee damage, power damage but most of all, a nice boost to aerial melee attack, +150% hover duration, 60% precision and a good damage reduction bonus.
As for the actives :
-Backlash for some defense with the damage specialization.
-Omnigrade for burst damage. While you hover you have a clear shot for these
-Turbocharge. A long bonus to damage, accuracy and stability.
With that you have a lot of fire power while in the air and a clear shot on all your opponent. While you are in the open backlash, combat tool and combat fitness had some good bonuses to your defense. You have a lot of precision and stability bonus so you can bring the heaviest assault rifle and still aim with precision to your enemies.
NOVA'S NUCLEAR LAUNCH
Adept have a lot of useful bonus when it comes to do combo build.
-Adept increase both biotic combo radius and damage and the special ability add some more aoe damage to each target.
-Offensive Biotics give a LOT of biotic bonus damage and combo damage and also improve combo radius further
-Containement add duration to biotic effect, anti-shield damage, again a nice bonus to radius, huge combo damage to shield
As for the abilities
-Pull is a good primer for combo because of its radius and anti-shield effect.
-Throw using radius effect or Shockwave/Lance works too. Depend if you need more AOE damage or not
-Tactical Cloak. Your only tech ability. Why ? Because at rank 4 it add +100% power damage and at rank 6 it last for 2 sec.
Going full biotic+Tactical Cloak allows the player to easily prime their target with high bonus to shield, increase radius of combo and a shit ton of damage.
Just throw your opponents in the air and use Tactical cloak to unleash the most devastating combo possible.
UNSTOPABLE NINJA
Vanguard is a melee focus build, and now it can become invisible !
-Vanguard increase melee damage, shield and melee damage gives you more shield.
-Combat fitness add health, shield and a nice bonus to defense when low on health
-Combat tool add melee bonus damage, damage reduction when evading, the mandatory huge bonus to aerial melee attack and a killing spree melee bonus
-Barrier add a lot of shield related bonus and a emergency full shield when in low health
As for weapon
-Asari blade duh, you are a ninja. More seriously you need a weapon with high damage that allow you 2 strikes in 2 second.
-Least weight possible. You want to tactical cloak as much as possible. You need something for remnant drones.
As for ability
-Tactical cloak, only tech skill, +110% melee damage for 2 sec, movement speed. It does prevent your shield from generating but you can abuse your barrier rank 6 ability. If you are still too weak you can take the other rank 6 ability allowing regeneration.
-Who cares about the rest.
No mysteries about that build. Heavy melee damage, Heavy resistance and the ability to cloak for damage burst or fleeing the scene of the crime. Not wearing a lot of weapon allow you some low cd to the cloak device. You can do heavy aoe damage by combining the Tactical cloak and the Melee aerial attack. You might have some difficulties against heavy unit so take some skill, companions or gear to counter them.
