Well this is the team that did Omega

Hopefully they can fully patch that mess 

It isn't a bad score but it is well below expectations for a Mass Effect game.

If the reviews are any indication, this is the worst game in the series. 

I might decide to wait a few months for this reason. 

I still can't believe people trust him as much as they do. For at least the last year I've been telling people to not take his word as gospel, and yet here we are.

It's mediocre

Seems like general consensus is that MEA is a solid game with a lot of cool moments and systems, but is marred by technical issues, some weak writing and characters, and poor animation.

I blame it on Ubisoft. Must be a Montreal thing. Still cannot wait as everything I have seen looks great. Gamespot also gave infamous 2 below a 7 and that game was incredible to me.

I did just talk to my friend who does character creators, facial design and animations for a living. He helped design the CC for fallout 4 and a bunch of NPCs. He's currently working on a different EA title but he did say the animations in ME:A are bad due to time restraints and possibly a tad to do with Montreal working on the game. he said EA knows the game will sell despite review and will continue to sell throughout the year hitting their target number to please investors.

This also buys bioware time to work on the game after release to fix everything. So hopefully people still buy the game and bioware will use these reviews as fire to improve the game!
