Why are all female presets fugly?

For what it's worth, the male ones are just as bad

It wasn't so much the presets it was the fact that you could not do much with them. Hopefully it can be patched soon.

Because not all of them are face scans. Presets 1, 5, 7 and 8 look fine to me. But option 3 looks like someone tried to create a likeness to the third male preset.
Honestly, if the blonde option is a face scan I will eat my hat.

Maybe they think MEA less likely to be banned in some countries if the girls are all ugly. I think it's the hair that does it, just changing to the first haircut makes some of the models respectable. Worked for the last slotted model.

Still, I think the slot one girl is fine, unfortunately, I usually don't play orientals.

There should be more options like noses and mouths etc. I like to customize my character with an array of options, that's a major reason I buy bio games. To make the character my way. I can't do that if there are no options, only presets. Can't be me if they limit me. 

Did Biocrap got more lazy or what? some 5-year-olds can design better faces than these...

Who the hell do you think you are? You'll pick a preset and you'll bloody well spend 45 minutes doing your best to make it look like it didn't come off the assembly line of a cheap Chinese knock-off Barbie factory or else you'll have to go default. Come on people get your priorities right ffs we need to pay for Natalie Dormer to have her voice in the game somewhere.

Just think of the presets as the people who designed the character creator taking 9 opportunities to put their boot up your arse to encourage you to use the thing. Don't fret, many of them clean up well.

Used a VPN to start the game early and have spent the past 2+ hours maddeningly trying to make a decent male and female ryder... I've given up on male, the presets are too mutant-like to work with.. and with female I find only 2 of the presets to be agreeable once heavily tweaked (well.. as "heavily" as these neutered CC controls will allow)... ultimately settled with preset 9... oh and my advice? Bring eye depth down (no lower than 5) and mouth depth down to 5 or 6 as well... reduces mutant-like animations I'm finding and generally looks more human.







One day I'm hoping to make a half decent male ryder that doesn't make me want to run out of my room screaming in terror... but I am skeptical it is possible... would love to be proven wrong... any handsome male ryders out there?
