Correction. Scott got 2. I forgot for a moment that Vetra's is a bed scene, but it fades out and they both wear clothing.

Not counting sexual orientation, Scott gets 3 sex scenes (fully nude) and Sara gets 2. The rest were fade-to-black or off-screen. They also should be a bit more original in the future. They took an animation from Cora and Scott's sex scene for Jaal and Sara in a non-sex scene, plus that whole PeeBee and Sara thing could have been fixed if they wanted.

Edit: Also do not get me started on Reyes and that mess with him and Scott's animations.

By rights, all ME games from this day on should have 3 straight options, 3 lesbian options and 3 gay options with optional sex that IS optional.

I really need to address the gay percentage here first of all. Don't you find it strange how big the gap is? 91% to 98%, from 10% to the almost entirely straight population? I wouldn't be surprised if there's a country with 100% straight guys. Self reporting is not a good statistic, especially for something that is stigmatized. Statistic shows that the top five gay porn consumers:

1. Kenya
2. South Africa
3. Nigeria
4. Pakistan
5. India

Countries where gays are being looked down upon or even criminalized. They could come out to say that they're gay or they're suppressing it from societal pressure. Second of all, I haven't seen a lot of people complaining about the number after Jaal was released. Some were disappointed that their options weren't the ones being improved upon, not about the number. This is where your argument about banging a Blacksian girl would fit. What you're referring to with your example is preference, what people asking for is quality. I actually see quite a few "internet activists" and gay people who are against Jaal being added and use straw arguments about how Suvi now need to be lesbian which totally ignored how Jaal was the only one who has no rejection line, so it was somewhat planned at some points for him to be bi, on top of the addition was being created to address the lack of gay quality options. It's not about quantity. It's about quality. I personally wouldn't complain if the gay players only have 2 options but those two options are of high quality. Let's supposed those two options were Jaal and Gil upon released. We would have Jaal who is story relevant to the game, has a unique face, and a squadmate on top of Gil who's another gay option for people who don't like Jaal. It would be like with Dragon Age Inquisition, I didn't like either Dorian or Iron Bull that much and ended up romancing Cassandra, but I didn't complain simply because I didn't like the options, but it was because of my preference, not because they offer me inferior options. With the current situation before Jaal, it was Gil, who has half the romance content of other options, and Reyes, who is also a non-companion that was made for females first before modified for males where Scott will stare at the ceiling while dancing due to Sara's height difference, kissing while sway his hip in a feminine manner, Vetra called you "Reyes' queen", then there is no confrontational scene between Gil and Reyes causing you to be able to romance both, and the lack of thoughts went into the trophy required you to romance 3 people when there are only 2 gay options, there was no sex scene, no unique faces, abrupt romance with Reyes having no resolution at the end and Gil has no contents update between missions like the other options. It wasn't the number that was the issue, it was the lack of attention and gay romance being an afterthought. It was the lack of quality. It was the separation but equal. Just because some groups are the minorities don't mean that they deserve to be treated with inferior service, they shouldn't deal with crappy school supplies, sit in the back of the bus just because someone was born that are deviated from the majority of society. I personally will stomp my feet alongside you if your options are inferior or not as numerous as the other groups, but they only patch it in because of the lack of contents for gay players, while you have 5 options, 3 squadmates, 2 options off-ship, one of the off-ship is exclusively straight. Adding a Blacksian wouldn't fix anything for you because what you demand is preference, just like with DAI for me where I didn't like Iron Bull and Dorian. 

It's not how ME is done. Who actually chose Cortez over Kaidan? Cortez was an option for the sake of having options, clearly inferior in every way. I would trade Gil and Reyes for a gay squad member anyday. That's the real issue with gay romance in ME.
