I remember launch night 5 years ago for ME 3.

I remember posting on the old bsn.  At the time there was the import tool not working for Shepards created in ME 1 and everyone was getting worried about not being able to import their canon Shepard, the leak controversy had hit the forums, the ending controversy was already starting up, all in all the bsn was excited but nervous.  I remember going to gamestop that night for midnight release (living 500 miles to the south of where I live now).   Even with all the controversies I friggin loved that game and have done several playthroughs of it since along with the rest of the original trilogy.  And here we are 5 years later.  Instead of finishing a journey we are starting another one.  Controversy is also in this game but the excitement is still there.  Maybe a different type of excitement but I am still feeling it.  Of course I don't have to go anywhere to get the game this time just have to wait for it to unlock.  At the end of the day Mass Effect is back in my life.  Hell yeah!!
