the game has already launched in my place, and one thing I noticed is there's a greyed out new game plus option when we are going to start a new game. As usual, we will need to finish a single playthrough before we have access to new game plus. I have some question though, just for gameplay planning purpose, maybe you people could help to enlighten me.
Is it possible to change main character on the new game plus or we are stuck with any character we have in the first playthrough? I was planning to start out as a male Ryder, and continue with female Ryder in the second playthrough.
And is there any changes in the new game plus? I mean, difficulty are already adjustable, so I don't see any point of new game plus.

Yes, gender, difficulty, etc... is all adjustable. Ian Frazier confirmed this some time ago. If it ends up being worth a second play, we got a good NG+ setup, it seems.

I do not know if that includes redoing them, since you have a chance to design both on the first play through.

there's so limited articles and information regarding the new game plus. I hope it has something different from basic new game to offer.

Ian said that we can import all of our progress and "stuff", and can recreate our Ryder, including changing which sibling we play. I'm not sure how much more they could add beyond that. Previous NG+ were pretty thorough; this extra customization seems to complete the options.
