Small list I put together for you folks, who are starting their adventures in Andromeda over the next couple of days: FIRST - Read your Codex regularly. There's a section in there specific to your character. It's a psych profile that tracks many decisions that you make, but almost includes remarks and tendencies that other people notice about you. This is your way of understanding how your character is developing SECOND - Find a comfortable skill loadout as early as you can. You'll want to have a COMBO of some sort unlocked early in the game. A combo includes a PRIMER and a DETONATOR. Examples include PULL + THROW, or SINGULARITY + CONCUSSIVE SHOT, or my personal favorite right now, OVERLOAD + LANCE. Chaining these combos together will allow you to release devastating amounts of damage which will help you get out of tough early situations. Don't forget, you can always re-spec your skill points by spending credits in the Tempest's Medical Bay. THIRD - Utilize your consumables. Because consumable slots are limited early in the game, consumables seem so much more powerful. Use them. I always like having an ammo ability (Cryo, typically) and a shield capacitator, ready for whenever I need them. I therefore have one offensive buff and one defensive emergency buff when I need it. They save you pretty early on in the game, especially after **minor spoiler** you setup your first outpost on Eos. FOURTH - Don't race through all the side missions. There are too many of them, and most of them are boring, mundane fetch quests. There is no timed cut-off for when you can complete side missions, and the priority missions will routinely send you back to planets you've already visited. So, when you return, you can hammer out a few more of the side quests that you opted to skip earlier (plus, returning to certain planets later on makes the planets easier to explore). FIFTH - Familiarize yourself with Research & Development. SCAN EVERYTHING, as scanning will give you research points that you can use to study blueprints. Acquiring blueprints, will allow you to develop weapons, armor, upgrades, and mods, provided you have enough resources. Try and have a plan in-place; say, you want to develop a specific shotgun and a chest piece. Understand what sort of resources you need, so when you are on the go next, you can prioritize collecting those resources. Also, dismanting weapons and armor that you don't need, is better than selling it - dismantling gets you resource materials that you can feed back into crafting. SIXTH - On harder difficulties, avoid upgrading both Liam and Cora's primer ability (charge, etc) until their detonator ability (Nova) is well upgraded. Otherwise, they will constantly just use their primer ability to get themselves killed.

Oh, and SEVEN - Learn how to play Sudoku, as the monolith consoles will require you to play a form of Sudoku in order to unlock the vault beacon.

Thanks for the tips! Handy about dismantling weapons. I just sold them. Same with my consumables. I sell 'm Money = power! Additionally, EIGHT: You can buy resources like copper and stuff on the tempest. I overlooked that at first... And NINE: if you research an augment, you can ONLY USE IT ONCE! Afterwards, you have to find it in lootboxes etc. Also, you got primer and detonator wrong when talking about cora and liam's skills.

Is it possible to uninstall an augment and put it into something else or does it work like runes in Dragon Age Inquisition?

Is it possible to uninstall an augment and put it into something else or does it work like runes in Dragon Age Inquisition? Yep. Similar to ME1 - you can see all your augments, including the ones already equipped to different weapons. When you try to add a mod that is on something else, you'll get a "HEY, ARE YOU SURE? THIS IS ON ANOTHER ITEM ALREADY" prompt.

Also, you got primer and detonator wrong when talking about cora and liam's skills. Yeah, you are right. My bad. Because of how silly their abilities are against enemies on the 3/4 difficulty, I don't run with them anymore - they always just die.
