Finally showing sympathy for the arachnophobes by scaring the hell out of the rest of us, I see. ....first bees, now ants. What's next - hornets? Scarabs? Also - how terrifying would blight ants be? Would a set of small blight ants be scarier than a set of giant blight ants ala "THEM"? I honestly don't know. Its a lot harder to kill tiny multitudes of targets with swords. |

...Why would krogan even have a ritual with a dwarven body and blood as sacrifice? In other words: you're way overthinking this  We already saw krogan heads used as amusing easter eggs and nothing more, while this whole Forgotten War thing seems pretty serious. Well, that's the thing. People might believe that there's this super-secret race of lizard men running around the Deep Roads, and the whole thing might just be a big joke about lost krogan in the Deep Roads. I'm trying to prepare people for that, and encourage them to invest their energy in pondering the greater mysteries of Thedas.
So, if the krogan are the scaled ones, does that make the salarians the moon men?

Assuming the legend is correct, Xenon was a human noble granted immortality but not eternal youth, meaning his body would grow even more decrepit with time. Xenon has used many different magical methods to prevent the further deterioration of his body and possibly reverse his condition, though with little success. The extra limbs are likely a side effect of one of these "cures."
(If you look closely, he also has a second head hidden underneath the book.)

I don't know, if I were immortal, I'd bolt on extra arms long before I realized I was aging. I can no longer die of infections, and my ceaseless eons of existence would surely get boring if I had a standard pair of arms. |
