The twitter post was not the reason I consider her that, night. There's a plethora of actual reasons.
And I was responding to the message of the tweet. I.e. Trump is a villain who is prideful. I was perfectly within bounds, still am. If people don't want to talk about it, don't. But it's on topic.

Not really sure it was meant to draw any parallels beyond that they both want to make X civilization great again. How you read into that is basically a rorschach test for your own political views. The context and underlying motivations (not to mention the personalities) are completely different. You're taking a twitter joke far too seriously. I remember on the old boards it was against the rules to discuss politics unless it was in off topic. I vote for maintaining that status quo. Take it to off topic please.
But away from Trump and back to Solas/Dragon Age -- I think you're doing a disservice to Solas and Bioware by reducing him to "a villain that is prideful." Both those things are certainly true, but there's so much more to his character and he does have a very strong, logical yet empathetic moral code that he operates by -- which is why he's my favorite fictional villain (and one of my favorite characters) in any medium ever. "A villian that is prideful" is a more concise, accurate description of Corypheus. (And not to go back to politics, but I think comparing Trump to Corypheus on a satirical page like that would make it a lot more incendiary since Cory is more of your prototypical mustache-twirling villain.)

Well, they don't actually mention anything about making anything great again in the image or any related tweets that were posted here.
They do mention the line about humility, and one of Solas' main flaws (and his name's meaning) is his pride, so I think they were discussing pride there. I did make an assumption about the villain thing to an extent b/c a) Solas is a villain in the technical sense at the least and people with progressive ideology very likely consider Trump rather villainous. He's certainly been outright called such in those circles. Neither conclusion I made was particularly far-fetched, IMO. And they don't meet the definition of a "rorschach test for (my) own political views" b/c I disagree with the idea that Trump is a villain, though I accept he can be full of himself at times, as I said in my first post on all this.
I get it was a twitter joke, but it was a joke making a point and I refute that point. I even kept it relatively calm in tone through use of euphemisms rather than actual cursing and the inclusion of an attempt at levity at the end of the post. But you are right, I do take the point that satirical joke is making seriously. I don't see why I shouldn't.
And to the Solas analysis, I am not saying he is merely "a villain who is prideful". Its just that that was the aspect of him that the image/tweets were honing in on, thus it was what was relevant for me to mention.

Saw those band name tweets earlier. Kinda confused on what they're for. Did Patrick finally get that Musical DLC wish???
“I think I am, actually humble. I think I’m much more humble than you would understand.”
Mary Kirby @biomarykirby ...this is a thing of beauty.
Sheryl Chee @sherylchee Ohhh my god.
I showed this picture to my husband. His response?
"Make Fereldan great again!" But that's because he hasn't played Inquisition yet. I guess it should be Arlathan?
Edit Add: EEp... hadn't seen all the angry posts. As someone who doesn't tweet/facebook and has been on vacation for like two months, I am not "tired" of the politics discussion so I just thought the image was funny. I was also amused that my husband had something to add.

Eh I think it's still apt. Even by the time DAI rolls around, 11 years after the Blight, Ferelden is still having a hard time. That was even on top of the civil war. I sympathize though, after going through DAO I still have a soft spot for Ferelden and want her to prosper.
I'm happy we'll likely be leaving southern Thedas behind for at least one game. It will be quite refreshing.

A few good DAI shots in there -- though there are a few more strange choices, all the skeletons hanging from the ceiling? -- but I think folks here at BSN have done at least as good, if not better. My humble offering: WIP: The Beauty of Thedas
I've seen a ton of great DAI screen archery on Tumblr and Flickr. I've been using this one (top) as a desktop wallpaper for over a year now.
Also, I don't get why all of those on PC Gamer were listed out of any discernible order. I fully expected all of shots from each game to be grouped together, but that wasn't the case...

She is the hold-beast of Stone-Bear Hold. All other bears in the area are mere imitations. Storvacker. How do I even begin to explain Storvacker? Storvacker is flawless. She has two ancient elven trees for claw sharpening and a silver honey dish. I hear that her claws are valued in Denerim at 10,000 sovereigns. I hear that she sells her shed fur to Orlesian master weavers in Val Royeaux. Her favorite story is Hard in Hightown. One time, she met Alistair Therein [sic], fabled warrior of the Fifth Blight, and he told her she was pretty. One time, she clawed me in the face. It was amazing. —From Ruminations upon the Avvar and Their Customs by Reginald de Gorge
Patrick Weekes @patrickweekes Me: I don't want to do a codex entry on the bear. Them: But she needs one. Me: Fine, but I'm doing a weird one, then.

I obviously need to read codex if there are awesome ones like this in there.
Vegan, Year 1 of Med School. Zevran, Fenris, Cullen, and Thane.
There are a few critter entries written by Baron de Mortison, the dude we meet in JoH looking for the nox morta. His scribe, Dunwich, has notes in the margins.
Most of the codex, just like the WoT books, is written from an "in universe" perspective. It's not just an info dump, but info dump with bias and not necessarily 100% factual/true.
