Do you have your junior and associate writers ever review your work? If not, who does review your work? How do you go about teaching the writers under you to do what you do? What’s your approach?

All the narrative team members (writers and editors) review my work, both because my work needs to be peer reviewed to get better and because the process helps junior writers get better at thinking critically themselves.

Also try to be first up ladder getting stuff reviewed for new type of content — first follower, for example. This lets the content serve as a template — “a follower plot should be this long, roughly.”

(And that is valid to critique, too. Maybe it needs more, or less.)

I want to call out how great Patrick makes this process because they create such a welcoming space for every voice and experience level.

Seeing such humility and skill on display from a Lead (and other narrative people!) during these meetings cannot be lauded enough.
