Remember too that at the end of the original non-dlc Inquisition game, the main plot hook left hanging was the situation in Weishaupt. The 'Last Flight' novel also came out a few months after DA: Inquisition, which is all about the Grey Warden up there too. I don't think an interim game is on the cards now, post-Trespasser, but I would not be amazed to eventually learn that an Awakening style expansion was an option that was prepared for, but never taken up - for whatever reason. I dare say the shenanigans in Weishaupt will be resolved in DA:4. My bet is either a book or a comic. Alternatively, perhaps that standalone tactical game Mark Darrah mentioned some time ago. Maybe. Though I could see them making a DLC for DA4 out of it too. I kinda expect DA4 to focus almost exclusively on the Qunari-Silas shenanigans in Tevinter, I don't think there's much room for a trip to the Anderfels for Grey Warden Civil War. |

Wellllll... unless they have one of those in Weisshaupt, which I wouldn't be that surprised by.  |

Actually, I'd be highly surprised if the eluvian from Origins/DA2 was the only one that became blighted (either b/c of the Tevinters or elvehnan). It'd make a lot of sense for the Wardens to have a blighted eluvian stored away in Weishaupt. That could be an interesting plot that ties whatever's going on in Weishaupt directly to Solas. |

Also, a Qunari-pirate hybrid story would have been amazeballs. I would be totally ok if this was the central premise of DA:4. (Bonus points if we get more Isabella.) Isabela is one of my favorite characters in DA from a combat perspective as I personally love the evade-tank, really quick rogue archetype. ( I'm now imagining a Souls-style game that is pirate themed with her as the main character. Awesome) |

DAI had a problem with trying to tackle too many plotlines and not doing any of them sufficient justice. I don't want to see that repeated. That depends how those plotlines will be tackled, and so far the idea seems to be that that whatever tackling method is going to be used, the GDC talk with Weekes and Epler states directly that Trespasser was supposed to introduce us to three things we'll see in the future: qunari, ancient elves and eluvians. |

When squeeing happens about DA4, the DA boards will probably have a lot of spoilers too, if you're one of the fans who doesn't even want to know who the romance options are prior to playing the game. Quite a few fans take a break from the forums the closer a BioWare game comes to being released for that reason. There is a spoiler-free thread for Andromeda right now for people who don't want to go dark entirely, where official promotional material, trailers and articles are very vaguely described and people can decide for themselves if they will watch/read it or not. Hopefully (likely?) such a thread will be made for DA4 too once announcements start being made. |

The Twitter thread is as close as you'll get to an official squee thread--vibes in these tend to be much more lighthearted and positive than the forums at large because they move so fast, although as information starts to come out and speculation ramp up, dedicated threads will start cropping up for in-depth discussion. Just be prepared for the inevitable wave of malcontents that will appear when things start to get real. Indeed...
