I live in Europe and thus am one of those people unfairly punished for British retail practices of the 1980s so I was using a Korean vpn last night and I could enter the game without any problems but today when I tried it did not work. Neither did a Canadian nor an American one. I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this or if they have been cracking down on this?

I don't believe they would be cracking down it, or that's it even possible. You should be able to play the game in offline mode once you unlocked it.

VPNs are unreliable. I used a VPN yesterday, and I could launch the game, but I had to switch VPN very often because the game kept telling me that the connection was lost. If you don't mind playing it offline, do it and have patience until the 23th.

Try restarting Origin several times until it works, making sure vpn established correctly. Also what client are you using?

I can't get it to work. Tried USA and Korea, keep getting March 22 2017, 11.00pm GMT  Had to wait to now to get key from cdkeys.com. Can someone confirm that its still possable to unlock in UK NOW? |

What I did was, logged in with the VPN, then logged out and reconnected normally via my normal internet but yeah, dat shit aint workin no more so I will have to wait until 12:00 CET. Unless you have some premium vpn gate this is not even remotely possible, free stuff works like dial-up. |

do not do MP on vpn, once you launch it just do SP and the vpn does not matter anymore until you relaunch origin.

Was using a Korean server last night but had to switch to Thailand now... didn't restart Origin since yesterday.
One thing I noticed in game: You have to switch to SP or MP rather fast when on the main menu, before your account is connected, or the trial message will pop up again and bar you from playing.

Still working for me. Make sure you restart origin completely after you connect to vpn.
vpn is fairly unreliable, just keep trying and you'll eventually find one that works.

For me it worked this morning...then my new Graphics Card and RAM arrived and now "too many computers are accessing Mass Effect: Andromeda with this account data" or some bullshit.
I wanna punch someone in the face.

Works for me. Used Avast Secureline and didn't have any problems at all these 2 days, except an software issue where I had to reinstall the VPN.
So for those with not working VPNs, try and connect to Singapore. For some reason with South Korea the "Play" button was grayed out, but there aren't any problems with the Singapore one.
