I will list my own issues with the game. (SP so far) 1- I don't know why you go to one console to change the colors of your clothing/armor and then another to customize and select armor. I would think you could do that all in one place. 2- with that said, I can't seem to keep all of the colors I choose. They revert back despite my selecting the changes. Is it me or a glitch? 3- the travel animations. if they are there to cover loading, that's fine, but it is annoying to watch the same 10 or 20 sec animation over and over. Is it just to cover loading time? 4- quests. its seems difficult to follow a quest. if I designate it as the one I want to do, why is it so vague? shouldn't it essentially point me to the general location? 5- research and development- I see that area on the Tempest but it gives me no way to use it. shouldn't the Tempest be the place I can essentially do ANYTHING that prepares me for my mission? is this just a glitch? if not why is the bay on the Tempest not usable? if its one of those unlock later things, NO. FIX IT. once you have your forward attack/explore vehicle VITAL to the survival of EVERYONE, you get all your resources TO DO THE JOB. if it's a glitch- FIX IT. if I can research and develop on desolate planets and the Nexus, then the Tempest should be capable of doing that too. 6- this is a problem with almost every single game ever made, but where is a 100% COMPLETE key map? I get annoyed when it says "You can do XXXXX now" and there is no way to know WTF that key is until someone on YouTube tells you because it does NOT show up on the key map. If you are not staring at the screen and writing down that "hint" you may be screwed later. This game has a few instances where you can't be distracted by kids, dogs, wife or anything in the real world or you will be fukkkeded when you need to do XXXXX again later. 7- this goes along with 6 (specifically launching Nomad), why do I have to stand in an EXACT SPOT to push the button or talk to someone? really? I have pushed a button in real life on the left, right and straight back from a console and I HAVE spoke to people even ACROSS THE ROOM. holy crap!!! crazy isn't it? I can task from outside a 1 foot square in real life. 8- there are other things but I just cant remember right now. it is still all minor things that can be fixed and still does not make the game completely unplayable.
I have to say the game isn't that bad. I am not a fanboi or a cheerleader, as many may think due to my previous statements and opinions, I am just intelligent enough to think for myself and make my own choices, not what some self important know-it-all jerkoff that has a YouTube page or a Streamer or a "professional" critic (they all suck) TELLS ME TO LIKE OR NOT. I realize this game isn't perfect, but it is not fatally bad at all. It is playable and fun.
now on to play some MP

Yeah, I think I might just play MP until this game gets patched up. It's a sloppy mess right now.

So basically you want a game that holds your hand and tells you exactly what to do and when. Sorry that's not what most of us want.

I am guessing you are talking about my take on professional critics. Well, for example in 1977, the critics didnt like Star Wars. Yeah, funny thing how the PUBLIC did. Another thing (probably closer to your era) Siskel and Ebert gave Lion King a one thumb up and one thumb down. I SAW THE TV SHOW AN THATS WHAT REALLY HAPPENED. They changed their opinion after it was an insane HIT, they changed it to TWO thumbs up. Yeah, they changed their story once they figured out the public liked it. No, I do not trust "experts" because they have their own biases and will either do what they were paid to do or they all love French love stories and expect you to love them too or they will call you an unrefined idiot.
No, critics and streamers and YouTubers are too often paid or so biased its just crazy. Cant trust em.
yeah, it also cracks me up.

For example, if you know where the murder took place, then the GPS should point you to the location and show the path the CONSTANTLY MONITORED personnel took so you can investigate it. The OMNI TOOL tracks everywhere you have been and how you got there. There is a path there since it was tracked by the Nexus. Why is it a mystery when every step should be mapped out. That side quest should be easy to track. Some quests are difficult and you have to discover things for yourself, but many quests HAVE most of the info already there so it should point you the way. Any game should PROGRESS in its difficulty. The first X side quests should be fairly simple based on a PROGRESSIVE scale. Just like you dont start MP in PLATINUM because you have to PROGRESS.
edit: even with TODAYS technology, your path can be roughly calculated by the cell towers you activate as you travel. How am I expecting the game to "hold my hand and guide me" when even todays ancient technology would answer the same questions I have? Isnt this supposed to be the super advanced future? I stand by my criticisms of this game.

On a similar note... do we already have a sticky for known issues/design oddities one might need to know?
For instance: If you go to Eos but emediatly return to the Nexus, you can access places where the game obviously doesn't want you to go - especially some of the crates in the Dock Area. You can "mantle" (CTRL) over them, but get stuck on the other side with no way back (happened to me twice). Even better, the ever helpful auto save hit directly after I went over the crate, so I had to load an even earlier save... little stuff like that.

Things like this are the reason why anyone who pre orders a modern game, especially an open world RPG, is essentially still a beta tester. Not that I mind since I obviously pre ordered but this sounds like the kind of issue that might very easily have slipped under BioWare's radar and that, if they find people complaining about it, they should fix it, hopefully.

Having no issues aside from some quick freezes. Game's been awesome so far. Nothing beats entering my first vault.bThe combat is superb alongside the visuals. Just chose what my first outpost will be like, and watching the shuttles land as Scott talked. Man, awesomeness. Also, the Nomad. Super cool. What a blast.

Now I have played some after launch MP and can say:
now that the amount of players has increased significantly on the East Coast of the USA, I have to say that I have not seen any lag nor been kicked out of a game due to lost connection. The game itself has some getting used to because the maps are different and the controls are different, but overall MP has been a similar experience in MEA as it was in ME3. excepting my opinion that bronze is inconsistent and sometimes more difficult than other times, but that could be my own mistakes.

Overall, I like this game. SP has some bugs to be worked out and some gameplay issues that may or may not be addressed with patches, but all that MP really needs, IMHO is a few more maps and merely power tweaks.
I think it is lower Top Tier or at least upper Middle Tier. If tweaked properly and cleaned up I put it at middle Top Tier. I think if MP gets a following, it will be around for years and could be considered a great success. .

I get the arrow, showing me to jump on the crates, I jump on the crates and go sailing over them to get stuck between the crates and wall and then can't do anything. Wonderful if everybody ends up croaking because Ryder is stuck behind a crate before she can even do any pathfinding.

There are many examples for little inconsistencies like that... also in terms of what NPCs say or what e-mails you get based on your story progression. I'm only in act two and already had three instances of somebody mentioning something that hasn't even happened yet. The game seams to be very specific about what you do when and in what order... deviate from that, and things get dicey.

I got stuck behind come crates too but hadn't been to Eos yet. Yeah I got the impression they didnt expect you to leave Eos until you had finished the planet. Odd for a game that allows free roam exploration and 'open worlds'. BTW I only played the 10 hour thing. Is Eos really as small as it feels? Seems the monolith area takes up most of the map. Are there much bigger planets? And to add for the OP: I love the hyperbole in the subject. "crusade for its destruction"? Seriously? How would that even be possible, even if there are people who hate it that much.

It's sloppy design, plain and simple...

I have progressed a bit in the SP game and it has been "suggested" in dialog I go back. when you fix the remnant stuff, it makes the rad levels start falling so I think the area gets bigger because you can go more places. dont know for sure as I havent returned yet, but it reads that way.
