When people self-claimed that they are intelligent above others I tend to think that the reality is actually otherwise.
Your impressions are appreciated but sheeeshhh do you really need to put that self-masturbatory statement in there?

While I have some griefs with the game and it's execution - it's so far very enjoyable to me. It's very much worth the price imo, as the good outweighs the bad by far, and it's only going to get better from now on. I mean, Addison actually lowered her botox abuse recently. The critique that it's DAI in space is both true and not, it feels far more engaging than DAI did, sidequests and all - though, it does have some of the low quality MMO BS crap quests/grinding that DAI had. Though, for now, the extent is overbearing. So 4/5 score from me so far. Sadly not the perfect 5/7 I hoped for, but I'll take it.

You're right. There are some usability and learnability issues in the interface. I noticed it the most in the coloring scheme bit actually like you. People do have to understand however that interface issues aren't easy problems to solve. 1) Game devs won't be able to tell that how learnable an interface is on their own due to knowledge bias. They need playtesters to play the game and even those have varying degrees of personal capability to *cough* pathfind their way through an interface. The fact is gamers are just such a notoriously diverse group that it's almost impossible to group them into a feasible number of user classes. You may bring 20 different types of gamers to test your interface, but there's another 20 more that will have additional issues of their own. It's BioWare's job to try to approximate that as much as possible but it's easier said than done. 2) There's a certain amount of "space" you can devote to content on the screen. Any more than that and it feels like clutter. MEA has a lot of information as it stands, so it is also possible that some of the more "obvious" choices were cut from then screen. I think this is most likely to happen in places like the Nomad where you already have way too many things on the screen. It's the difference between assuming a level of contextual understanding by the player rather than providing distinct visual cues. An example of contextual is the repeated use of space to confirm in most MEA interface, so it was assumed the player understood it applied to the color scheme as well. 3) Interface issues are definitely lower in priority than most others. As long as the interface at least functions to an acceptable degree and does not impede on expected gameplay, even issues in learnability can be overcome through experience. ---- That being said, an interface is all it is. An interface. Once you learn how to use it, all the issues you mentioned go away. It is just understandably infuriating to be faced with a learning curve when you're too busy enjoying the game Although I'm still figuring out how to use a consumable lol

Yeah, I think I might just play MP until this game gets patched up. It's a sloppy mess right now. Even that's a sloppy mess, right now. Rubberbanding, and I was in one match right now. Sound just cut out. For no reason. Sound's just like, "I'm out, dog." Came out, went to my control panel, sounds, asterisk, heard the familiar "PIIIING". fml Plus, the game needs an entire overhaul of their weapons and power systems. Took me three matches to find out that I do, in fact, have powers that can be leveled. Plus, screw a bunch'a that shit with seven waves.

Not sure what you mean but I was just saying that some people may be mad at me for defending this game as much as I have and I am admitting that the game does have its problems. I dont really think I am any more intelligent than anyone else here. Self masterbatory? I gotta remember that. Lol

Sad state for a Bioware game when being "playable" is considered a good thing...
