Every other match I get dumped to desktop. No error message or any indication why. I am well over the min specs and have no problems in any other game. Yeesh.

That sounds familiar actually, I seem to remember something about CTD's with no error message happening a lot with DAMP, which come to think of it is the last game made by biower, which uses the same engine, and by all reports appears to be using the same netcode.

I just had this happen on xbox. Played probably 10 or so matches without issues but just doing a bronze on wave 3 and myself and one of my friends were both kicked out of andromeda to the xbox home page.

I was wondering if this was me (my computer or internet) or if everyone was having this issue. Nice to know it at least sounds fixable now. But yeah, I'm on pc and it happens too. I'd say it's happened a little over ten time since I've played, including trail. It's quite obnoxious and needs to be fixed asap.
Also, several times the sound will drop out and won't come back until I restart the game.

I had not had a CTD in 6-7 hours that I've played, but I've had other funny bugs. Once I lost all sound during an MP match. Alt-tabbed to desktop quickly to make sure it's not hardware or sound settings - everything was fine. Restarted the game and sound worked.
Another time I selected the newly unlocked Salarian Infiltrator, but its model was taking a while to load in the roster. The match started in that state, and I found myself playing HSol. The funny thing is that after the round ended all the points went towards Salarian Infiltrator.
These are "childish" bugs, I'm sure they will be patched within weeks if not days.
P. S. You've probably already guessed it but I'm on PC.

If you are taking BSNs opinion on if you should get it or not then youd never buy another game ever again. Ive had minimal issues and i suspect some people here are overreacting. I bought it for Xbox first since that's where all my multiplayer buds are, but I did intend to buy it on pc for the graphical fidelity down the line. Seems like the right choice. |
