I'm doing just fine without slo-mo. The ability to see through objects is allowing me to line up good shots from a distance just as enemies start to stand behind cover. Right now, I'm carry two sniper rifles - a Valiant and a Raptor... switching to the Raptor for quick fire while moving to another location to commence sniping again. As the play likely picks up later in the game and I collect a better AR, I may switch it out... but right now, I'm quite happy with it. Try the PAW. Once I get one, I certainly will. My tactic right now is to not research anything until I've found it once and can try it out. If I like it, then I'll research it up as high as I can. If I'm nearing the end of the game and I have an excess of points and materials, I might start researching stuff just on spec... but not yet. (I should add that the Valiant was the exception. After I finally got to try one out in ME3, I absolutely fell in love with it. I heard it was right up there in ME:A with the best of them, so I researched it as soon as I could.)

A sniper shoudl be for sniping. I.e. shooting unaware enemies from afar. A sniper should NOT be for every other combat situation. So you having to cast overload for properly using a sniper for a combat scenario where enemies move (which is their creator-given, right, btw. I'm not gonna sit still either for some douchebag to pop my head...) is perfectly normal. Well, either that or... L2P.I I clearly said that it was not an issue of movement, but an issue of infinite stamina. No one can move and jump around like that indefinitely. Learn to read. As for shooting from afar, the effective range of the weapon class is too short for that. I personally think you're hugely overselling their amount of jumping... too short? If you can see it, you can shoot it. How is that too short?

Just FYI: With one exception, Remnant weapons and armor don't drop as loot in the game or on merchants, since the Remnant creators didn't make equipment with an intent for humans to use it. By and large, the only way to get weapons like the PAW (in singleplayer) is to craft them.

I will consider crafting it later on then when I'm leveled up more and have some better augments to put into it.
